We haven't had to use the generator yet, but we did prep it. It is easy to setup. It is a little difficult to install the wheels and I would advise having someone to help. We are using a 50 amp hookup and the cord is very thick. When we try to plug it into the generator, the cord hits the wheel. We are still checking to see if there is a fix for this. Otherwise, it is easy to move and started right away with the electrical start.

I just bought this a week ago and so glad I did friends of mine have different males and models and now wish the bought this one anyone hesitant about buying this one don't be easy to put together and runs awesome on gas or propane highly recommend.

After many years with no generator I finally took the plunge. Reading many reviews I decided on the WGen9500df. Setup was easy everything you need comes with the Generator after adding gas and following the startup instructions I hit the START button without pause it started 1st time. Very happy with my purchase.

Living in Florida a generator is an essential back up solution. When hurricane Ian came through, my home was affected and I was without electricity. I installed and ran the generator up and it was able to power my home. I was surprised at how much of a load I was able to put on it and the noise level. Several of my neighbors were impressed by it and I was even able to charge up some of their devices and an rv fridge. If you live in an area where you have frequent power outages, this is the generator to get, you won't be disappointed with the power, features, noise level and performance.

Build quality- excellent, do not see parts that look easy to break or fail. Features- better than most competitors and everything we need. Simple & easy to operate, even starts with a Key Fob. Add the optional ST Switch and it's a smart automatic back-up system- it works perfectly. We use the ST Switch for 1 freezer and 1 refrigerator in the garage with power to spare. I have run almost 7000 watts (from 10ga extension cords) in testing and the 9500DF had no problem on LP gas. We use natural gas for heating and cooking, so the 9500DF will have all our electrical concerns covered including a 10,000 btu backup window AC unit during the TX rolling blackouts. I will not be installing the 50 amp output to the breaker panel in this house, we're moving soon and will invest in a whole-house transfer switch then. Originally considered the 7500DF, but my budget allowed me the upgrade to the 9500DF with the ST Transfer switch. I do know the unit can power a 4 ton A/C unit, so I'm very confident we made the right choice. I have 40 years of professional electronic & electrical experience and the WGen9500DF is everything I wanted in features and build quality. Very satisfied with the value of the Westinghouse product. Perfect choice.

After our recent floods and lengthy power outages we knew that we needed a backup generator. After quite a bit of research we decided on the Westinghouse WGen9500DFc. It has enough output to run our entire house - with some to spare, and having it as a dual fuel model there is a lot of options, especially since propane lasts longer in storage. We are quite happy with it so far!

I recently moved to a state that encounters hurricanes on a regular basis and usually have a considerable amount of frozen products that are critical to keep frozen, no matter the circumstance. I had this wired up to my panel and not only does it power all of my freezers, but can also run my central air as well. The value for the price is well worth it and I'm looking forward to having the peace of mind this brings me.

Great generator. Easy to assemble and operate. Duel fuel option is a huge plus when dealing with power outages when gas may not be ready available. This is a heavy piece of equipment, but maneuvers well with large non-inflatable wheels. We have a transfer inlet hooked into our breaker box.

I purchased this for when we lose power at our home. After unboxing the generator, it was simple attaching the wheels and front mounts. It did arrive with a dead battery, happy to see that it comes with a trickle charger, but it did start easy enough with the pull cord. I look forward to using it in the future.

We just recently upgraded our generator to be able to run more items during the storm season in Louisiana. We lose power about 3 times in the summer anywhere from 1-9 days at a time. The generator itself is beautiful in looks and the remote start is a great feature. It gives me peace of mind to know all my wife has to do is press the remote start button on the key chain to get everything back up and going.
