Totally impressed with this product from the moment I opened the shipping container. Everything needed to operate the unit was there-- except the gas. LOL. you even provide the wrench to assemble the mounting feet-- took all of 15 minutes for the wheels and feet. The generator itself is extremely well constructed with no thin metal parts that would tend to rattle around during operation. I would say that I got the most " bang for my bucks" with this purchase.

I'm really impressed with the power and great features this generator has to offer. Such as remote and push button start, the option of using gas or propane, 6.6 gallon fuel tank for a long runtime, and a meter to display voltage, frequency, and total run time with maintenance reminders just to name a few. This machine has got it all!

Just purchased my wgen9500dfc and can't wait to try it out. The features on this unit outweigh the competition by far. Love the fact of the dual fuel because having a 500 gallon propane tank, at my home, will eliminate the need to run get fuel during one of our frequent power outages

I compared many portable generators and finally decided on this model due to the high ratings and overall variety of features I was looking for. Am planning to prepare our home to accept a 14-50P into a receptacle, and then with the switching off of the main line input breaker, and switching on of this generator's input feed, am expecting it to practically be able to power my whole home. Will make sure other family members can go through this same procedure safely as well, in case of my absence! VERY SATISFIED SO FAR, will provide update after I can run an operational test!

I've only had this generator about a week but it's fired up both times with ease. As a new homeowner in FL, the primary reason for purchasing was to prepare for potential power outages in preparation of hurricane season. Setup was straightforward and the option to use gasoline or propane was a huge plus in making my decision. So far I'm pleased with the purchase and am confident that should I need to fire this up, I'll have no issue powering the major appliances in my house for any extended period of time.

I just received this generator this evening. It took about 10-15 minutes to put the wheels on, add oil and gas. It fired up with the remote on the first go. I'm not letting it run for 4-5 hours for the break in period. I've tried the remote stop and start from our kitchen and it works great. Can't wait to get this on my welding trailer for my welders.

I've been interested in buying a generator for a few years now. When I started researching them I noticed that Westinghouse kept coming up with high marks. I took delivery today and was impressed right out of the box. Easy to set up and started first time. Tried it under load on the house with a/c and well pump running at the same time. This is all I need. Glad I bought it.

This generator WGen9500DF looks and works great. It is well built and we do like the redundant features such as those regarding the start-up modes as well as the dual-fuel capability. It keeps your resources going and needs addressed in an outage. Highly recommended.

Unpacked and tried it with propane and it worked well powering a shop heater. Haven't tried loading it heavily yet since you need to run it for 5 hours before doing so. Hopefully the next time we have an outage it can keep the critical stuff running.

The dual fuel feature generator is very attractive living in Florida. Options are important during power outages when gasoline may not be available at gas stations. The generator comes with a battery charger which I connected to power after installing the wheels, The charger shows a red light during the charging operation and it turns green when the battery is fully charged. My remote was already paired, but the manual provides instruction for pairing the unit with the included remote. Not as noisy as I had expected for the amount of power it produces. Everything is working as expected, and I have noticed that the engine runs very smoothly, even during this initial break-in period - as I'm getting it ready for its first use. Overall, the Westinghouse WGen9500DF impresses with the quality solid-build and I am very satisfied with this purchase.
