I bought the 9500 DFc generator 3 weeks ago, it's simple to assemble in just minutes, hooked up the propane and it started up right away . I was very satisfied with how quiet it was, hooked up the air compressor and it ran great. Can't wait to hook it up to a manual transfer switch, no more power outages for me.

After planning to do a whole house backup with Generac only to find total cost would be close to 20K! My licensed electrician uncle told me about a more cost effective way to getting same power for less. I found this unit to be very popular for DIY backup for less on YouTube. I'm very pleased with its power capabilities and the price was very reasonable.

After searching for some time, this is the perfect generator in both power and dual fuel to meet my needs. Westinghouse has always had a great name, and once again they have lived up to it! Well built, easy to use controls, plenty of power and reliable. Just a great product!

Purchased to power sub panel to be installed by licensed electrician. Arrived prior to electrician so I followed the included quick start guide to assemble and start the generator. Very easy, used key fob to start on gas, switched on the choke and it fired up immediately! Looking forward to the security of a back up for frequent power outages.

I have a 10000 watt Generac Generator. It is 21 years old. It was time to replace the generator. I read some reviews. All positive for Westinghouse. I took the plunge. Excellent choice. Fast delivery. Easy set-up. Easy to operate. Started on first try. It is easy to move. Nice wheels. Comes with free oil. All of the knobs and buttons are clearly marked. Fairly quiet. It does the job. I have no complaints. I am a customer of Westinghouse for life. Thank you. Would definitely do business with Westinghouse again. BTW, the instructions were very easy to follow.

Worked perfectly out of the box! I read the quick start instructions, got it set up and running in about 30 minutes. Hooked it up to my generator inlet box, it ran the house just fine. I'm sure I will have to cycle certain appliances on and off, but it has plenty of power to run the necessities.

After experiencing a weeklong power outage in the middle of winter, I purchased this generator to run our RV trailer and keep the house appliances i.e., refrigerator, freezer, security lighting etc. powered. It took about 30 minutes to unbox and prep the new generator for use. I hooked the generator up to propane pressed the auto start button and on the fourth try it fired up. I hooked all the aforementioned items to the generator, there was ample power to run all. The setup is super easy, the instruction manual is great with easy-to-understand guides. If there is a fault to this generator it would be that it is a loud when running. A better noise reducing muffler system would make the generator perfect. That being said I am very happy with this purchase.

I bought this because we have more ice storms and power interruptions every winter and we have less confidence in the power grid. This is very maneuverable with the wheels and handle. Has enough power to keep the house running for way less money for a permanent setup with basically the same watts. Plus it's portable so you can also use it at the cabin or hunting shack etc... it took about 2 minutes to put the wheels and feet on and add the oil. Hooked up a propane tank and it started right up. Not as loud as I expected either so that's a plus.

I did a lot of research and spoke to friends, neighbors and my electrician. When I showed them the WGen9500DF each of them agreed hands down it was the best.
