We bought the Duel Fuel WGen9500DF (9500/12500) on October 30, 2020. Right out of the box it was simple with a few assembly items and we were off and running (follow the manual for stating instructions: easy to read and follow). The generator is well built and heavy, easy to start, and looks impressive. We have a 3500 square foot home and it easily runs everything we need if the power goes off. I would recommend it to anyone.

With the power outage issues that the state of Texas continues to experience into 2023, I bought this WGen9500DF dual fuel portable generator to provide emergency backup power for my small 3 bedroom house. Setup was easy enough for this 65 yr old man and I had it assembled & running within 45 minutes. Electrician installed Inlet Box and main fuse panel's Breaker Interlock for my application. Now when a power outage occurs, I can have full backup power within minutes. This Gen supplies adequate power using propane fuel with no need for gasoline fuel additives or fumes when stored long term in my garage. It powers my frig, attic furnace, 1.5 ton A/C and my tankless hot water heater, as well as every other circuit in the house. I'm pleased with the overall solution this Gen provides.

We bought this generator after a major hurricane. Our neighbors have one and it runs their entire house. We jumped on board and bought one ourselves because we have a well and need electricity to get running water. It was very easy to put on the legs and wheels and to start up for the first time. We love it because it is a duel fuel and sometimes it's really had to find gas so the option for propane as backup is great. I really like how it has a remote start and push to start so we don't have to go out and mess with it in the rain.

I bought this product in early July 2023, but due to a delay in delivery, I have only used it a few times. The battery would not start it when I first tried. I had to charge it with the battery charger that came with it which was easy to hookup. After it was charged it started easily and starts every time I push the electric start button. Also starts easily by using the remote fob. I tried using different power tools and it worked great. I think this generator is going to be reliable and cover all my needs.

Setup: Easy to attach wheels and feet. Read the instructions...you will learn a lot, especially if you are a first time generator user! Connection: You will need to provide the power cord...regardless of hookup (direct to/from indoor appliances, or to an outdoor connection). An important element, but very simple. Use: I love the remote start feature...this and the dual-fuel option were the two key selling points for me. The handle extends to provide easy movement to/from your connection point...and while the unit is heavy, when on wheels it feels very light. Maintenance: Access is simple...and we have only used it for one season so I have not yet done any maintenance.

I just bought this product I love the extended warranty of 3 years the propane and gas with the push button start and also remote control to turn on and shut off I checked the products with other companies and this one was rated the best Thank you Westinghouse

I can't give a full review except I put about 10 minutes of gas in it and plugged in a power tool to test it. It started right up using the electric start. The power tool didn't show up on the volt meter. The display is a little cheesy. It also read 62 Hertz. with no load. Other than the volt/hour/hertz display being sub par, knowing some low priced generators offer an app. I'm quite happy. I wasn't able to put it under a heavy load or run it for a long period of time. I do plan to use the 50 amp plug to supply my house during an outage. In conclusion the generator is a beauty. It was quieter than my 3500w generator and It appears to be very well built. I couldn't find a generator to match it for this price. Please Westinghouse with all that beauty, I pray for reliability when the time comes. Don't fail me. Reliability is key. Otherwise I just bought a beautiful piece of junk.

After purchasing a iGen4500DF, I knew that I wanted a Westinghouse to be able to power 220V for my well pump and other high power appliances. ~10K is what I needed, and also wanted the dual fuel option. The instructions were clear, and in no time, I had the generator wheels installed, and started it right up. It's just what I was looking for and feel confident that I'll be ready for the next power outage!

I brought this generator and glad I did. We have been having alot of storms in my area and needed something temporarily when this occurs. The delivery was smooth, calling before drop off and allowing me to inspect before leaving it. Customer service was helpful as well. Thanks again and if you need a generator this is the one.

Product arrived in good condition, followed set up instructions. Was nice that oil and funnel were included plus a wrench and spark plug tool. added gas and started right up. the remote worked from inside the house. The next week our power went out and showed the wife how to hook everything up to electric panel, have a 30 amp breaker lockout device installed. Turned on the generator and it ran everything in the house. Very satisfied.
