Left residue on dishes.

Used once, left chalky residue all over my dishes. Had to hand wash and scrub everything in the dishwasher. 0/10 do not recommend.

It can fight against the detergent to allow minerals and food particles to settle back on dishes, which results in film or residue. We have some tips that can help the detergent win the battle against film and residue: > We recommend switching to Cascade Platinum, which is designed to fight spots & film. It's packed with ingredients to help prevent hard water from remaining on your dishes. > Use Cascade Rinse Aid. It's released in the rinse cycle to help prevent spots & film on your dishes. > Ensure the water in your dishwasher is at least 120F/49C. It may help to run hot water from your kitchen sink hot for a few moments before starting the dishwasher. > Make sure the dishwasher sprayer arms aren't blocked. They should be able to spin freely. > Use Cascade Dishwasher Cleaner (without any dishes in your dishwasher). Leaves a sour film on the glasses

Not only are my glasses not clean looking, but rather cloudy, the glasses taste sour. I have to pour out my drink, re-rinse the glass and then start again. I'm throwing away this product.

Got tired of Residue on my dishes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was using another brand of gel Dishwasher soap and noticed I was getting a residue on my dishes and it could make someone sick. I went to the store and the clerk recommended Cascade Gel so I took it home and was extremely pleased with the results. The only problem is the packaging; I can't open the top if completely closed. I don't have any children come to my house so its not a concern for me.

Excellent product for you dishes

I have certainty once my dishes are out of the dishwasher after using cascade, my dishes will be ready to be used. The price is reasonable and easy to find in the stores. the number of loads is appropriate for my household needs. I am a single mom with a son and therefore the duration of this product is great as twice a week doing dishes.
