However, odors can sometimes be absorbed by plastic items whether they’re new or older, but especially if they are well-used and porous in nature. If this begins happening, please wash these dishes by hand. You can also try switching to Cascade Free & Clear, which has the lightest scent. We'd be happy to share some tips with you. The water temperature should be at 120F, and we suggest running hot water to your kitchen sink before starting your dishwasher. Run the dishwasher when no other household demands for water are running, and make sure the dishwasher arms aren't blocked. As well, you many want to try running a longer cycle. We hope this helps.
