You would think that with as many times as we have bought this over the years I would give it a 5 star rating. This is our quick go to Salsa for everything and price per ounce is a winner. Consistent in quality and fresh ingredients. Even the jar is great for reuse. I take one star off because I taste a slightly weird off taste that I relate to "preservative flavor". Not bad, just off, and the off preservative taste is always consistent as well. My husband does not taste this preservative taste so we continue to buy and use it. I take half the jar and mix it with fresh chopped ingredients for myself, so I use it as a base for a remake just for me.

Love this stuff! I always have at least 1 container in my fridge. Drain and add to eggs for easy Huevos Rancheros, omelets or frittatas. Drain and add to mashed avocados and salt for a super delicious and easy guacamole. (I get requests for my guacamole recipe all the time and people are delighted and dumbfounded at how simple and easy it is with this salsa.)

This salsa is excellent! My family loves it right out of the jar with tortilla chips. A much healthier snack idea than many other things. We also add it to recipes like chili and have even warmed it up to put on top of omelettes with Mexican style cheese!

We love it! Very fresh tasting. It's extremely mild (not spicy at all), which suits some members of the household just fine, but others of us add some sriracha to increase the jalapeño hotness. We find that we use a lot more of it per serving than the typical salsa in a jar because the taste is so much better.
