Easy peasy

I ordered a cake online and paid for it in advance. When I went to pick it up, they handed me a random Paw Patrol cake that wasn’t what I had requested. When I pointed out the mistake, they told me they had run out of toppers. However, I was never contacted about this change—not by call, text, or email—and I would have never agreed to it, since all my toddler wanted was a Paw Patrol tower birthday cake. When I asked what could be done, their only response was, "We apologize, but there’s nothing we can do about it—unless you want to come back for it tomorrow." I felt pressured to take the cake because I had already paid, and it was the day of the birthday. The way they treated the situation made me feel like I was being unreasonable, as if it were somehow my fault. It was the worst customer service experience I have ever had.To make matters worse, while the cake itself wasn’t terrible, it was way too sweet. Now, five days after the birthday, with a few kids at home, more than half of the cake is still sitting untouched in the fridge. We bought this paw patrol cake and cupcakes for my son party. Not only was it yummy. Best prices in town!! Thanks North Richland Hills Sam's Club for helping us save and have great party for my son.
