I have always used cast iron Pots and pans. However these are really beyond belief. With normal cat iron, you have to pay close attention as they are real prone to stick and/or burn. These have enamel coating and I couldn't believe my eyes when I got up with a distraction and my potato soup boiled over. I though it was truly gonna be a nightmare to get clean, if I even could. I used a wooden spoon to try and find it how damaged it was. My eyes literally bugged out when as I stirred the bottom at actual came off. The clean up was a breeze and believe it or not, the soup want scorched tasting. I think I'm gonna have a bowl in a bit. These are way more than I ever expected. Now I have the best of both worlds. Not only is my food tasting better and cooking faster, but the clean up is a breeze and there's no seasoning the pan to worry about. I don't have to put it on fire after cleaning to get all the moisture out of it so it doesn't dust. Whoever came up with these, .....thank you sooooo very much.

I love this cast iron Dutch Oven. I was so excited when I opened the box. First things first, the color is amazing. I have the red. Very well made (heavy) love the way it cooks. After getting this I was so excited so I bought my Mom, and my best friend one, same color of course. They were equally satisfied. Regardless of the color you choose you will not be disappointed.

This pot is a good heavy soup/stick pot. I’ve only used it a few times since purchasing so I can’t speak to durability. But it heats nice, and the 2 soups and few other dishes came out great. I will say, I ordered the purple, and The actual color is very different than that in the picture. It’s not bad, but definitely more of a raspberry than a dark purple. And that’s why my review is 4 stars.

I bought this dutch oven because it was enamelled. I have two others and I will use this in place of the non-enamelled one that I have which I still use. I will use this for bread, soups, stews, slow baking, etc. I find that I use dutch ovens more often in place of my oven and slow cooker. I recently made a beef stew using a Southern Living recipe which closely matched what I had at the family table when I was much younger and was happy with the results. I just washed it and seasoned the rims on the oven and lid and touch it up after using it.

Can't say enough about tbese pans. I have different sizes, colors and a few sets. These are amazing to cook in whether it be stove top or oven. I watch for these black friday every year. Hope Sam's club continues with it. They have many colors to choose from. Definitely 5 star from me.

I bought 2 Dutch Ovens thru Sam's, 1 is for a college graduate and another one will be a gift. I had my old PURPLE one still in use & works perfectly every time. Dutch oven cooking saves me a lot of time by not worrying about water-dried-out issue. It also takes me only 45 minutes medium heat cooking for my favorite meat dish instead of old 2 hrs+ using other type of cookware. Love it !!!

Love this pot ..the teal is beautiful. Used it once already at very high heat and it worked like a dream and cleaned up perfectly. Bought another as a gift, and plan on buying more for my family. I own a LeCruset pot and this is as nice if not better for 1/4 the price.

Have received this Dutch oven and was surprised at how heavy it was . I know that cast iron was heavy but expected it to be of lower quality. I am 73 years old and one of the pleasured I get out of life is cooking so I am very very fussy about my cooking equipment. I live on a minimum amount of SS so it is one of the few enjoyments I can afford. It has made me feel good about this purchase. I would recommend this to anybody. As a matter of fact (depending on how much I can afford it) I think I might purchase one for my daughter's Christmas gift.

I bought this online and it arrived in 2 or 3 days. So I washed it and made chicken potpie (rolled out dough) The cast iron is all that I can think of as to why this batch of chicken potpie was so much better. I doubled the recipe and it was a good think that I did. This heats evenly, the lid fits tightly and yet allows a small venting. Clean up was so easy. And I really do mean easy. The Dutch Oven is HEAVY. But they all are very heavy. And my age and a really damaged wrist, hand didn't make things any easier. But I had my husband hold one side and I held the other to dump into the serving bowl, though it could have easily been served right out of the oven itself. As a matter of fact I am making chicken pot pie again tomorrow and after that Julia Child's Boeuf Bourguignon. I have made it many, many times but not in a cast iron dutch oven. It's a time consuming dish to make but I'm very anxious to see how this new dutch oven works. I think it's wonderful. And the price is really excellent. Give it a try and Bon Appetit!

I bought the merchandise knowing that it is a good product to have I love cooking and cooking in it I cook almost everything in it it is a great product to cook it I would do so many things with it and would not know what to do if I did not have it man thank you it is so great to own this product
