Great price and value. The Dutch oven is beautiful and sturdy. Following the care and cleaning instructions are key to maintaining the integrity of the product. My last Dutch oven suffered chips and scratches because I didn't care for it properly. I intend to maintain and use this one for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it for my daughter because she was always borrowing, but not always returning, my high dollar French made Dutch ovens. it works as well. and is attractive or more attractive than my $300-$500 French enameled cast iron, Dutch ovens... I really can't say enough about the quality and value!

After looking at quite a few dutch ovens this size, I was dumbfounded by the prices! When my local Sam's Club started to carry this I had to go check it out. I was pleasantly surprised that it had all the features of the crazy expensive ones- basting ridges on the lid, a great look, and heavy feel. I was expecting an expensive price point to go with it. I still can't believe it was under $50!!!

I love this Dutch oven. I've been wanting the one that costs an arm and a leg and when I saw this for sale I did some research and learned this one is basically equal to that one except the cast iron in this one is thicker. It weighs a ton so be careful when washing but it is beautiful and serves many uses in the kitchen. the only thing is the gold nob basically discolors or loses its sheen after being in the oven. I got the denim with the gold nob.

I purchased this product knowing it was going to be heavy due to it being cast iron but I love it! I have cooked pinto beans they came out beautifully. I also baked a pot roast with vegetables baked so evenly and delicious. I did a lot of research on a Dutch oven because I wanted to make sure I bought the best one, when I saw it on Sam’s online and read the reviews I was sold and I am glad I made the purchase and so happy I am now an owner of a Dutch oven the color red is so pretty and looks so nice.

The Dutchess of Dutch ovens! Great price for a great quality item. Super heavy and sturdy. Just what I want in a Dutch oven. I Feel that the price was a steal for this 7 qt oven. It’s large enough for soups and stews and is oven safe for bread making ( lid too! Up to 450•). It washes up nicely also. If I had the room I’d have 2 more of these!

I had this product and was very pleased with it and had to buy a new one after burning the bottom beyond repair...can't blame it on the pot, only on human error. I never had any chips or rust like others have stated and was very careful to handle/clean via instructions (always waiting to clean after completely cooled). Only thing I wish is, the pot to be made in US rather than China. Always skeptical of their business practices and like to support our industries domestically. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

The Tramontina Dutch Oven is excellent. It is the second purchase of the same Tramontina Dutch Oven, and I gave this one as a gift to my son. I note that my first Tramontina Dutch Oven has developed a few chips in the outer colored enamel, but overall I'm pleased. It heats up well and maintains moisture well. It's my go-to when doing specialty dishes, stews, soups, rice dishes, and more.

I love the size color and weight the way it sits flat on the stove. I’m not happy with the coating. Stuff sticks to the bottom. I’m gonna keep using it to see if there’s something I can do to make it better. Half a dozen uses so far, stuff just sticks.

After using this cookware for the first time, I noticed rust along the edges on top and under the cover. It was hand-washed and air dried after use. It appears well made but the rusting is unacceptable as it could leach into food.
