We purchased this dutch oven for our friend here at work. She put it on her wish list for her birthday and she LOVED it!! The price was really good too!!

This Dutch oven exceeded my expectations, and the size for this price cannot be beat. It is gorgeous and very well made. I use it to make homemade soups in fall/winter. Make sure to wash and season it accordingly, and then cook!

The pot is not the color as shown in picture. I ordered purple (same color as last year), it is a totally different color purple as shown on website and as last year.

I would have given it no star at all if I were allowed. As shown in the attached pictures, the lid of the dutch oven leaves a gap when it sits on the actual oven. I'm not sure if this is a defect that happen to appear only on the dutch oven I bought, but what I do know is this gap made more than 2 Qt of water evaporate within 30 minutes on medium high heat and burnt a soup that took me almost 2 hours to prepare. Horrible experience with this purchase did not end there. Since then, I emailed the company regarding this incident, and it's been 10 days now I didn't even get an auto reply. I then called the customer service number. My call went straight into voice mail. Still hoping they would have the decency of doing what they say, I left my phone number. It's been more than 24 hours by now, nobody called me. Based on my more than disappointing experience, I would NOT recommend any one to buy anything from this company. Once they get your money, you are on your own.

This dutch oven is beautiful! I love how evenly it cooks at just medium temperature. The design is smooth and appealing to the eye. Handles are large enough to grasp with potholders and the lid fits snug. I chose to season the cast iron which shows at the seam where the lid and top meet and it looks great! Very happy with this purchase at this price point.

I had been shopping for a cast iron dutch oven for a long time but just couldn't bring myself to pay the high prices. When I saw this one, I did a bit a research and learned Tramontina is a quality brand and the price from Sam's was an amazing deal. It's too soon to determine the durability but so far, it's worked well for cooking and cleans up nicely.

This is a beautiful Dutch Oven. Cooking in it is so easy and the clean up is great also. The only drawback is this is a HEAVY pot. When you put a roast and vegetables in there to cook in the oven, sometimes you might need a little muscle to remove it from the oven. Overall it's a great piece of cooking pottery.

Exceptional value! Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Ovens can be found varying in price from $40-$400. This is the 3 rd Tramontina brand dutch oven i have purchased for myself and for gifts. The quality is excellent, it heats evenly and is easy to clean. The colors are vibrant....and it is inexpensive.

This is actually the fourth, yes, 4th, Tramontina Dutch oven I’ve purchased! I bought one for myself and absolutely loved it! Then purchased one for each of my daughters and they loved theirs! I’ve now purchased a fourth for my niece and she will love it! It’s every bit as good as Le Creuset but costs far less!

Love the color and how solid it is, a little disappointed that on both sides of the dutch oven, just below the handles, there is black paint that wasn't removed and cannot be removed now. It doesn't affect the function of the oven but doesn't look nice either.
