This is probably one of the most significant reasons I maintain a Sam’s membership. While not in the class of hot-smoked versions, it is an exceptional value and makes the list as one of my breakfast favorites with cream cheese, sweet onion and capers on a toasted bagel. There is some variance in batch taste quality but it’s obviously not a deal breaker but it is the reason for only a 4 star.

I made appetizers with this salmon: Toasts topped with a mixture of cream cheese, sour cream, diced raw onion and capers with a nice slice of this salmon on top. With a sprinkling of capers it was a beautiful presentation and everyone loved them. I also make a sandwich with this and lettuce vinaigrette. This is great in salads too. This salmon is totally delicious.

I picked up this salmon at Sam's Club because the location was relatively convenient. My father purchases smoked salmon at a different retailer, and he does not like change. He wasn't happy about the new product, but he admitted it was good, and he ate the entire package with no complaints. If you knew my father, you'd realize it's high praise.

This used to be sold as 1 1/4 lb, not 1 lb for same price in he same size package. The incredible shrinking salmon. A lot saltier and because so much more spread out, also acquired the taste of the carton it is on I consider myself lucky that the Las Cruces store is not allowed to sell the bulk box. Otherwise I'd have been stuck with something I don't like at all. Too bad, because this used to be one of my all-time favorites.

I grew up loving lox and not getting enough of it. Sam’s carried a brand that was amazing, then they dropped that and brought this in. I’ve purchased it numerous times and have been disappointed every time. It has very little flavor and the last time it was stringy. Please improve this.

Too salty - overpowers other tastes if used generously. Also kind of fishy for a farmed salmon. Saltiness and fishiness overpower every other taste. The piece either not sliced or did not separate on slices properly, making a rather 'irregular' presentation.

Absolutely wonderful

The last year we have had to buy the Members Mark as they quit carrying the other one that was for many years the perfect smoked salmon. Taste is not nearly the same and the pieces break apart as you separate it so you wind up with a lot of little pieces. Wish I could find the previous brand.

Sam's thank you for offering this product. I used to get this at Bj's for a lot more money and it was too salty.so When I decided to give this a try this was almost perfect for me. I can't afford what the Jewish Deli's sell Nova Lox for and to me this is a great replacement in terms of quality and of course price. This stuff is great for my diet on a mini bagel and whipped cream cheese and I'm in heaven as always Sam's has the best value and in most cases quality on the products I buy.
