Smoked salmon is one of my favorite foods, and this is the best - and best value anywhere. I have been buying it for years and found it to be consistently excellent. It also freezes well, so I divide the large package into smaller portions and freeze. It should be consumed or frozen within a week of package opening.

Have tried several smoked salmon products at various stores. This was the best -- taste is very fresh -- easy to remove the slices-- price for a one pound package is great.

This smoked salmon is fully cooked and delicious on a healthy low carb salad. I’m not usually a smoked salmon lover because of the slimy texture, but this is firm, perfectly seasoned and ready to eat.

The whole family loves this product and my 3 year old daughter is a picky eater! She eats the salmon all by itself, and the rest of us enjoy it on bagels and cream cheese.

The salmon is so good, tender and not too dense, not too salty, pulls apart like bacon strips. Can eat it right out of the package standing in front of the refrigerator lol but love it on a good crisp cracker smeared with a little cream cheese.

The first time I had raw salmon was at a breakfast in Paris. At least I thought it was raw. When I arrived back to the states talking about how absolutely delicious it was, friends couldn’t understand what type of salmon I was referring to. Fast forward 16 years and it is still one of my favorite snacks, but I now know it’s smoked and not raw. Absolutely delicious with poached egg and toast or on a cracker with cream cheese. Packaged conveniently, but I remove and place in sealed sandwich bags to maintain freshness. They don’t last long, however, and I’m thrilled our local Sam’s offers them. Highly recommended.

I have weighed the net amount of salmon in each purchase for the past year. The net weight is ranges between 15 and 15 5/8 oz - never a full pound! Therefore, the price per pound is about 4-6% more than what you'll pay. I will continue to purchase the Member's Mark salmon because it's good and still a reasonable price, although the "1 lb" label is deceptive and I feel cheated.

This is probably one of the most significant reasons I maintain a Sam’s membership. While not in the class of hot-smoked versions, it is an exceptional value and makes the list as one of my breakfast favorites with cream cheese, sweet onion and capers on a toasted bagel. There is some variance in batch taste quality but it’s obviously not a deal breaker but it is the reason for only a 4 star.

Enjoy the taste of this salmon - especially for making lox and bagels. However, noticed over an extended period of purchases that while sold as 1 lb the package doesn't seem to contain 1 lb. Usually falls short by .5-.8 oz. When making our lox and bagels we always weigh salmon for a 2.0 oz serving. Again, have not gotten 8 servings from package for quite some time. And, yes, I have been keeping track of total in package once I noticed that the last servings were faling short. Thus, do not feel this is the true price bargain as advertised.

We used to love this salmon. The last 2 purchases have been off. The taste and texture are not right. We will no longer purchase.
