It smells quite smokey. Af first I thought it had gone bad. The taste and texture are just below average (fair). It is edible. Usually I love my smoked salmon with avocado, but it just did not pair well with this salmon. I would recommend leaving it out if its package for like 20min before using bc so that the smell can dissipate

This salmon has a great flavor. I pack it for breakfast every week. Why have you discontinued? I tried your other salmon and this cold-smoked is much better. It's not as fishy, good flavor, and less expensive. There are 2 reasons i continue my expensive Sams Club account. Why would you get rid of something that draws customers? What's next, Rotisserie chickens?

I want a refund. This salmon was WAY TOO SALTY. It was not edible. It tasted like ham too. Close your eyes and you’ll think your eating ham but with extra sodium. such a shame. I have bought salmon from sams and it’s been delicious but this was disgusting what a waste of salmon.

Occasionally I enjoy smoked salmon with cream cheese on a bagel. I don't do it often because it is expensive and of variable quality - if I buy it at my regular supermarket. There, it comes in small, expensive portions. This full pound, by comparison, is much more reasonable and stays fresh in the refrigerator. I seal it in ziploc bags and enjoy it for more than a week.

The first time I had raw salmon was at a breakfast in Paris. At least I thought it was raw. When I arrived back to the states talking about how absolutely delicious it was, friends couldn’t understand what type of salmon I was referring to. Fast forward 16 years and it is still one of my favorite snacks, but I now know it’s smoked and not raw. Absolutely delicious with poached egg and toast or on a cracker with cream cheese. Packaged conveniently, but I remove and place in sealed sandwich bags to maintain freshness. They don’t last long, however, and I’m thrilled our local Sam’s offers them. Highly recommended.

You switch brands. Not nearly as good as your other brand. Lox is mushy, does not peel off correctly.
