This is the third time I’ve bought the smoked salmon from Sam’s. The first two were fine, great flavor, not too salty and the right amount of smokiness. The third one started out the same but half way thru the slab I put a portion on my plate and the first mouthful I pulled a long blonde hair out of my mouth. I live alone and I have very short white hair. I understand this is not the fault of the store I bought it from but it has definitely turned me off of buying it again.

I have weighed the net amount of salmon in each purchase for the past year. The net weight is ranges between 15 and 15 5/8 oz - never a full pound! Therefore, the price per pound is about 4-6% more than what you'll pay. I will continue to purchase the Member's Mark salmon because it's good and still a reasonable price, although the "1 lb" label is deceptive and I feel cheated.

It is perfect. This is a regular purchase for me. The quality is excellent. The salmon is tender and does not have any chewy pieces. I will often break down this pack into smaller portions and freeze for later (which is still just as good). The price is outstanding. Highly recommend.

This smoked salmon is of high quality. I've bought other brands from other stores before. This Member's Mark smoked salmon is of great value and quality. We usually put them on a bagel with cream cheese and topped with dill or capers. Great for a healthy breakfast or any time of the day.

I like this product (although I am not very experienced with lox, gravlax, etc.) The taste, texture and appearance are yummy and very consistent. A package will last weeks in the refrigerator after opening. Very good with a bagel or dark bread and some cream cheese, dill, capers....

I buy this every time I go into Sam's because it's easy to freeze in the freezer until you want it you can use it for parties You can use it for a deli tray You can use it for sandwiches It's just very quick and fast and it's healthy and it tastes good

Love this smoked salmon and its so good for you. We put cream cheese on a cracker and layer a piece of salmon on top, man is it good!! One of our favorites. Another great cheese is Boursin, oooooh, so delicious, just a bit more expensive. Its great for lunch, even our teenage daughter takes it for lunch. I separate the package into 5 - 6 containers with approx. 1oz chunk of cream cheese, break up a Ritz cracker pack into 2 bags and, wa-la, you have healthy lunches ready for at least 2-3 days. You might be able to get more containers, but I put about 12 bite size pieces into each container.

This product tastes very good but for me it is just not quite cooked enough. It gives me the sense that I am eating salmon sushi. In fact it is very similar to Ahi Tuna Sushi I had at Tommy Bahama's in Scottsdale (which was excellent by the way) but I don't want a pound of it. It does not last very long in the frig either.

Absolutely delicious! I hosted a brunch and served this smoked salmon. Ultimately, you never know how the slamon is going to be like, just based on the package: very fat, not easily chewable, thickly cut, etc...this slamon was perfect on all counts! not slimmy with fat, amazing texcture, cut just right, I only will purchase this one from now on!

I like this Salmon very much because I don't eat regular meat. The flavor is reaching and pleasurable. However, sometimes, it is hard to find because others are eating it as well. A great meal while on the go, but I wish the price would come down a little.
