Vacuum Sealer

Works wonderful!!

I received the vacuum sealer yesterday and got up this morning ready to vacuum seal some meat for the freezer. I cut the roll and sealed one end of each bag. Sealed great. Put the meat in bag followed every step of the instructions but no matter what I done, over and over again, it would not vacuum at all!! Im going to return this junk and find me one that works the first time like my older one.

Very disappointed

Have owned a food saver for 10 years and always loved.  Wanted to replace old with a new product because I loved it. I used new one twice and now pulled old one out. Terrible product. No suction. Very disappointed

Terrible product

I have been considering buying a Food Saver for quite a while but I wasn’t sure it would be worth the money. It’s easy to use for the vacuum and seal part but trying to evenly cut the plastic material from the roll that came with it was next to impossible and very time consuming. I found rolls of material online that were in a box with a slide cutter. This isn’t the name brand but the material seems to be just as good. If I had to cut the Food Saver bags off the roll every time I would probably throw the whole thing in the trash. Luckily I found the bag material with a cutter. The actual vacuum sealer machine works great so far. Do yourself favor and find rolls of bag material online with a cutter on the box. Then the whole process is much more streamlined.
