I now understand why the salesman was pushing them so hard, they must not be selling very well. At the recent price of gas, this is hard to swallow. I’m not impressed

She wanted to spend her money wisely. She does a lot of highway driving taking her daughter to basketball games all over Ontario and the neighbouring US states, on highways and back roads and wanted a tire that was safe for all weather situations. The Cross Climate has performed exceptionally well under snowy and rainy conditions. They have stood up well with very little wear showing and provided a comfortable ride with excellent handling. As her father, I am very happy with my suggestion!
Great Versatility at a Great Price

I am looking forward to not changing tires in the winter as I live in Quebec and they are approved for use in the snow. I also spend 6 months in Florida and the tires can handle the heat as well. Well worth the price!

Although they don't perform in snow quite as good as Winter tires they have been excellent at switching between varying conditions of snow, ice and heavy rain on the same drive.

Dropped my MPG so much that I had to return them and just to think this is the second generation with an improvement in rolling resistance I sure would hate to know what the previous generation was like. Michelin perhaps on the 3rd generation you can greatly lower the rolling resistance and than claim them to be the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Recently with living in Wisconsin we have had a mix of snow and rain making slush mess. This tire made driving in it like it wasn’t even there. I was bit skeptical when first purchasing these and with the somewhat higher price compared to other options but I am now sold. Well worth the price for noise reduction and handling of winter weather. Would recommend to anyone who lives in Midwest who truly deal with all seasons of weather sometimes even in one day.

There definitely is a difference in ride quality and very "grippy", but then again I will say that is probably true of any new set of tires. I've only put about 100 miles on them, mostly highway and residential roads. No rain and no snow yet, so I cannot confirm the claims of performance yet. All dry and speeds ranging from 0 to 75 mph. The ride is smooth, but not as smooth as the Continental but I expected such for such an aggressive tire tread. The one thing that I can say is that these are a little louder on the highway then what I was hoping for hence 4 stars. I thought the accoustic technology would have made them really quiet, but guess not. M...

I have never been disappointed with Michelin tires until now. Put a set of Cross Climate 2 on a 2017 Ford Escape at 51,638 miles and the car handles great, like an expensive sports car. However the tires are excessively noisy to the point I thought something was wrong with the car, the wheels or what ever. I paid three different tire shops to evaluate, one of which is my primary tire dealer and they all concluded nothing wrong with the car, it's the tires. The tread was still good but the tread had separated from the body of the tire. All four! At least they were consistent. I have had really good luck with Michelin tires in the past, and I expect good service from these. Also they seem to maintain their pressure better with change in temperatures.

According to him, these are the best tires he's ever used. He was uncertain on my claims to All Weather tires, but I did lots of research + was a Fleet Mgr for a large Police Service. Before I retired in 2018, all of my non patrol vehicles had All Weather tires if sizes were available. Bought a set also for my sons Honda van & he too was very happy with these tires.

Buying a hybrid car was an attempt to get great mileage, and now the average is about 3 MPG lower. No other complaints about these tires, but I would not have bought them (Nov 2023) if I had known the mileage would degrade.

Great ride, and grip especially on the Grand Cherokee. Replaced OEM tires on the Jeep. These are just so much better. No more loud crashing over potholes and highway cruising is so quiet. Replaced some Kumho's on the Subaru and these are also super quiet. Certainly worth the money. Don't put on cheap tires. You'll regret it like buying cheap shoes.

They are less noisy than the Michelin defenders I had before. Will know more after a few thousand miles but my initial impression were wow. What a smooth ride. Michelin has consistently made good tires and have never disappointed me or left me stranded.

Due to our weather differance from one city to the next I feel this is the perfect tire as it works very well in wet rainy conditions as well as snow. So leaving the rain slick roads of Chilliwack heading east over the snow cover highway to Penticton I could not ask for a better tire. Now because I live in the rainy section mostly the stopping power and distance is unreal. Thanks for such a great tire and keep moving forward.WillyOriginally posted onmichelinman.com
- 5 out of 5 stars review10/19/2023This is by far one of the best tires I have purchased. They seem to handle very well in various types of weather. They are extremely quiet and provide a soft and comfortable ride. We were in the mountains when a deer ran out in front of us and because of the way the tires responded we were able to avoid hitting the deer. It felt like we were in a sports car instead of an SUV. On wet roads, it feels like we are driving on dry pavement. I would definitely recommend this tire.
Excellent tires. Smooth, quiet, very responsive.

The stock tires would just spin if I hit the gas remotely hard but these grip in snow, ice and drive fine on normal roads as well. I didn’t notice too much noise at all on the highway like others have complained and around corners it grips well also. I only added them to the front and have the stock Michelin’s on the back.
Increased my cars performance for all conditions.

They lasted a good 75,000 miles and still had life left in them when I replaced them. In terms of performance, they did exceptionally well in the rain, even in a torrential downpour. They were very quiet up until the last year or so, but that's to be expected as the rubber hardens and the tread wears away. If you're looking for a tire that will last, look no further.

Only driven in Florida, so can only report on wet traction. We get some torrential downpours and they provide excellent traction with no hydroplaning which is essential for these light front wheel drive cars. I was so pleased with the performance that last month I bought another set for 2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack.
