- 4 out of 5 stars review11/1/2022In my winter driving conditions I use spikes (country roads in the North of Finland) in my back wheel drive car. I have now my 2nd set of Cross Climate tyres in a row. They give me flexibility to change to spikes only after the real winter has come. Not any earlier. In the spring I have the flexibility to switch back early to Cross Climate thus reducing the use of spikes to minimum. I have found Cross Climate very pleasing: low noise level, reasonable wear, very neutral handling (205/60R16) in my E series MB. The tyres deserve 5/5, the pricing lowers the total to 4/5. Ps. My winter spike tyres are Michelin, too.

I traded the Honda in on a 2022 Subaru Outback Limited. Rest assured that when the Outback needs new tyres they will be Michelin CrossClimate2.

They are so loud and the noise comes in to the cabin. I drive a Lexus which is very quiet, but the road noise is getting unbearable for me. As for as performance, I'll give it a solid 5 star because these tires perform well in wet conditions.

Since then I've lost three tires to non-replaceable punctures and had five repairable punctures. Driving is on main thoroughfares and suburban streets (no construction in my area). I drive the same areas with my pickup and have no problems. These tires seem to pick up and hold every piece of metal they come across. Having just lost my third tire, I replaced them with something else.

We get some torrential downpours and they provide excellent traction with no hydroplaning which is essential for these light front wheel drive cars. I was so pleased with the performance that last month I bought another set for 2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack.

Handled 6" of snow with ease and no sideways sliding see with other tire designs. Braking performance is exceptional in snow and wet. See other reviewers whining about MPG decrease but it's minimalin my experience for what tire has to offer. Tire is extremely quiet considering aggressive tread pattern which is impressive. Another great tire from Michelin and highly recommend if live in snowy climate.

I had them installed right before it really started to snow and i couldn't be more satisfied. Few things have the return on investment that this set of tires provides. They shed water impressively well and I could barely slide in the snow if I tried, and I have tried... when and where it wasn't too risky to try, that is. Top notch.

Originally these tires were so good, I recommended them to family and friends. Four of them bought the tires. I am no longer recommending these tires. I received zero support from michelin, I was told it is probably ozone damage....2 1/2 year old tire.

Dropped my MPG so much that I had to return them and just to think this is the second generation with an improvement in rolling resistance I sure would hate to know what the previous generation was like. Michelin perhaps on the 3rd generation you can greatly lower the rolling resistance and than claim them to be the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Stopping is seamless, road grip is outstanding. The car turns flatter, poor street conditions are smoothed out (quite a feat for Chicago!) and I'm happy with the purchase.

These tires lasted about 77,000 miles of mixed highway and city use. I have an alignment issue so would recommend getting your car aligned at the same time and rotate frequently every 5k-8k miles. Today they sold themselves again. Took a nail and the tire still kept pressure. See the pictures! What a tank of a tire.

I could feel the difference as soon as I started driving. These are the best riding tires ever. The best mileage I have ever had on this vehicle is 26.1 mpg. I have driven over 1500 miles and now showing 27.0 mpg. About 1200 of these miles were on the interstate. I would highly recommend this tire.

I was somewhat hesitant to buy them because the set of Michelins that came on my car only lasted 36,000 miles. These tires have a longer warranty. I don’t know if new cars come with a lower quality tire or not. A friend of mine had to replace his Michelin tires at 39,000 miles. Hoping for the best!

These tires a "meaty" and, while I have lost some MPGs, they are my favorite tire I've had on either car. I've put them to the test several days and nights driving in snow and ice and they haven't let me down yet. I'll be trekking around the mountains of Colorado this summer and see how they do in all the heat.

An AWD that continuously got stuck. Terrible hydroplaning in heavy rain. I researched and found raves about the Cross Climate. Then I had to search like crazy. Everyone was "sold out." Finally found a set, had them delivered and a local shop installed them. The result? Amazingly good handling. No hydroplaning even going through standing water. As far as getting stuck in moderate snow? These tires turned my Subaru into a snowmobile! Going forward all our AWD vehicles will be wearing these at replacement time. Thanks for such an exceptional tire. Jake

I do have an AWD vehicle so that helps as well. On wet roads, I found them to be better than the previous all season tires I had.

This tire ticked all the boxes starting with wet braking and hydroplaning. Good noise level, comfort and bonus the are snowflake All Season rated if we happen to get caught off guard before we have our snow tires on. Very happy.
