- 5 out of 5 stars review9/18/2025Great tire, wet and dry handling and traction are the best I have ever had. Corners without any problems or noise. I was surprised that the noise level was very acceptable, they were quiter than my previous Bridgstones summer tires. Very comfortable ride. Too early to comment on durability.Have not tried them in snow but will this winter. Over all a great buy.I have highly recommended to my friends and family.
Great buy
donny46Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/30/2025I was really intrigued by the tread pattern, and at first thought that they could be a bit noisy. My mechanic said I would be surprised at how quite they are. I was replacing 4-year-old Michelins that I loved. And to my surprise these tires are almost silent compared to my previous ones! Well done, and the tire pattern has folks asking me about them frequently.
Wonderful, well thought and striking tread design
popcornwizardOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/18/2022I purchased 4 Cross Climate 2 tires a month ago for my 21 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk. I could not be happier. The ride and handling in all conditions are far superior to the Goodyear Adventure with Kevlar they replaced. My wife has the Cross Climate 2's on her 16 Ford Escape and has had them in winter conditions , and feels safe and confident now. The tires are not cheap, but we feel they are well worth the money for the peace of mind they provide.
Best tires I have ever owned in 50 years.
Greg65Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review5/27/2022People seem to be getting confused about a couple points: 1. Wandering / Poor tracking: this tends to happen with untrained staff mounting all four tires on the wheels one direction, which makes directional tread patterns like these backwards on one side of the car, which results in poor tracking and wandering. I have had tire shops do this, and it feels exactly how some "disappointed" reviewers are describing their performance. 2. Poor MPG: Michelin has replied here to a bunch of people that fresh tire compounds result in lower mpg at first. That's not untrue necessarily, but so far people have ignored that new tires are physically larger than worn tires, even at the same nominal size. The worn tires are giving artificially high MPG f...
Great tires - Answers to common complaints!
D equals Pi x COriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/7/2024After multiple sets of other brands wearing out in 25-30,000 miles on my Teslas, these currently have 56,000 on them and will easily make the 60,000 mile warranty. In addition, they have been at fantastic summer driving and winter snow tire, as I live a 9100' in the middle of Colorado ski country.
Awesome wear and year around performance
TSLAFanOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/1/2025I have purchased these tires for a variety of different sedan and mini van vehicles, and they are perfect all-season tires for those living in the Midwest. We get a fair amount of snow in winter and rain in spring / fall, and these tires perform well in those conditions. The added bonus if they are not loud when driving 60+ mph on the freeway, and they help me maintain a decent MPG rating when driving in the city + freeway. Overall, I am happy that I purchased these in the past and I am planning to continue purchasing them in the future.
Great set of tires!
wheredoIneedtodriveOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/14/2021Purchased just prior to a 3500 mile road trip. These tires enhanced the trip experienced on multiple levels: Quitted cabin noise levels, allowed easy conversations, Great tracking and ride qualities improved driver and passenger comfort levels, Great wet braking and traction added to safety.
Road trip ready
Sailfish JohnOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/8/2025I recently purchased a set of 4 CrossClimate Tires. These are the second-more refined version of the CrossClimate model that came out before. The CrossClimate2 is built for higher speeds and extra safety. I can feel the difference in my turns at every time I break. I bought these for my Honda CR-V, with the intent of providing a safer ride for my child. So far, I'm very impressed.
Excellent all-around
MarissaOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/8/2022I've been driving on these tires for 12,000 miles. These tires work extremely well in heavy rain with no hydroplaning at all. Barley can get these tires to break free under heavy acceleration. Tried them out in 6 inches of snow, they worked extremely well for an AS tire. Great acceleration and braking traction. Tracked very straight when at speed. In the dry, they feel like a Performance Summer tire. They are a little noisy in the first 3000 miles, now they sound great. I recommend these tires to all my friends and family. I have been using Bridgestone 980 AS, for 3 sets, and these are far better. Used on a 2019 Hyundai Elantra Sport FWD.
Perfect All Season Tires, Especially in Rain and Snow!
XB12XTOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 4 out of 5 stars review6/19/2025I just purchased these tires for use on my Accord. Online information described them as all season Touring tires with good comfort and good handling. I voiced my concern that they might have a rough ride, but two sales people agreed with the online description and assured me that the ride was smooth. I can't speak to the handling, but the ride is definitely stiff and harsher than I would expect from a Touring tire. In my area, roads have lots of cracks. The tires I replaced were 10 years old and original to the Accord. I feel the cracks and other road imperfections much more than I did with my old tires. The quality of the ride is better suited to an SUV or Crossover than a nice sedan.
harsh, stiff ride
scOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/19/2022Cross Climate 2 are perfect for me. We get lots of rain where I live and CC2 does an excellent job of divesting the water and holding me steady and tight to the road surface. Since the first day of driving a car too many years ago, I have always had Michelins. So, 10 Gold Stars.**********
Best of All - always
Alfie FrenchieOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/18/2025Replaced our Rav4's factory tires with a set of Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires and immediately noticed a huge improvement in terms of ride comfort and handling. Winter was already over, so we have yet to see how these CrossClimate 2 tires do on snow and ice, but based on the reviews we read and what we have experienced so far, I say "BRING IT ON!!!"
Big Improvement!
Rav4OwnerOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/11/2022...the price was better than my OEM's, which were balding with less than 30k miles and winter was coming! Granted these tires are much more appropriate for my Stinger vs our grandkid hauler; but the Hankook's had been too 'slippery' last winter....4-5 times turned around before even leaving neighborhood, switching to Grandma's Sportage. And last winter (in north central Ohio) was NOTHING like the one we've had so far!! Since replacing tires (w/CC2's) I've driven on roads bone-dry/sopping wet/mild flooding/ light sleet/mushy snow/1-2" fluffy snow/5-6" packed pre-plowed snow and we're getting ready to have rain melting away piles of curbside snow....these tires grip!!, do NOT slip!!! (All) traction situations have definitely been muc...

TexasIndianOriginally posted onmichelinman.comConsumer CareTexasIndian, thanks for sharing your experience with the CrossClimate 2 tires. We love to read great reviews like this one! - 5 out of 5 stars review11/10/2021I have traveled about 5000 miles on these new tires to date. My wife and I took a road trip and traveled extensively on 2 lane county and state roads. We experienced some heavy rains in Wyoming and the Dakotas. These tires eat standing water like it isn't there. They corner and brake very true on wet and dry pavement. I was pessimistic about the tread design but it does channel water away from the tires very efficiently. I haven't had a chance to drive on snow or ice but have no fear that they will perform equally well in those conditions. Also, they are much quieter than the Continentals Ford loves to put on cars. I am very glad I bought these and will again if they wear as advertised.
Great choice for wet roads
Average JoeOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/23/2025I am a person that has been told I am OCD over my tires, and I telll my mechanic I am picky when it comes to tires. Having said that, I have put on about 20,000 miles on my CrossClimate 2’s that I made my mechanic go and find and I would buy these again in a heartbeat. Even as they age, the traction and confidence in wet are remarkable almost as if there is no rain or snow below you. Stopping distance is terrific with these tires and they ride like a dream! The only cons that I’ve found are a 3-5% reduction in mpg (I have an HEV) and one tire continuously looses about 5psi 2-6 weeks.
These are fantastic tires!
JasonfOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/26/2024Fitted these to an AWD hatchback, mostly driving in the Bay Area with frequent ski trips to Tahoe/mammoth during the winter. These tires exceeded all winter driving expectations, pushing through blizzards and snow covered roads as if a true winter tire, through record snowfall seasons. Matched with a basic awd system, these tires inspired snow driving confidence, never once having to chain up and driving through roads covered in multiple inches of snow. They also performed well during the summer and wet. If you’re looking for a single tire solution for snow/summer and switching tires doesn’t make sense for you, this is your tire.
Awesome do it all tire for Ski season weekend warriors
TeeOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review5/11/2021Installed on a Sonata 2012 - couldn't be happier - no longer have to find room for storage for 4 additional tires on rims (now living in a condo), highly recommend the quiet ride, handling on corners, good stopping distance in rain and excellent in the snow. What more could I ask for?

GopherOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review5/30/2024I bought these tires 2 years ago. There a few people here saying that tires don’t perform in snow I really don’t know what there talking about. We have a couple stretches in Vancouver were the snow was really bad and these tires were super amazing on snow especially being in a cul ta sac My Suv ran trough deep snow like nothing and had excellent traction on main road in slushy weather. The performance in rain and dry weather was excellent definitely the best tires I’ve ever had on any vehicle I owned I would highly recommended it.
Excellent tires any season
Epic543Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/20/2023I drive a Ram Promaster City Front Wheel Drive minivan for a large company in the photostatic industry. The stock tires that came on it, were a joke, even on a small patch of ice. So I shopped around for an all-season tire, since my company + leasing company will not allow snow tires. Imperative, in my book (ex tire-jock), is that they had the 3 Mountain Peak / Snowflake symbol, because I have put such tires on my personal vehicles, and never looked back. Well, I've got these about a month ago, and have been over Powder River Pass at least twice on packed snow, and ice... and have busted drifts out on I-25 several times to get to my tasks, and they have not failed to provide unparalleled traction, and give me a lot more confidence in my wo...
A tire for the serious worker.
Mike777Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 2 out of 5 stars review1/9/2021I can’t count how many sets of Michelin tire I have purchased. Bought these for a Ford Transit Connect Titanium wagon. Spent numerous hours sound proofing it. Van is light and has basic suspension. Therefore asked for the best tire, irrespective of price, that would provide a smooth and quite ride, while providing good winter traction. The ride in now rough/stiff. Despite all the sound proofing, the road/tire noise is very pronounced, especially though the front struts. There is now a vibration that comes through the steering wheel, particularly at slower speeds, and to add insult to injury, the gas mileage is off a solid 10%. They do provide good winter traction, but so do the Michelin tires I put on my daughters car this summer,...
