- 5 out of 5 stars review5/29/2025I had Michelin Defenders for my Honda Ridgeline '17 (bought in Oct 22) they too were smooth and as I spend most of my time on the highway, they lasted a while. Now got the new Cross Climate 2 and I was impressed !! The tires are amazing, quiet, smooth and the truck handles a lot better. I would highly recommend them.

In the winter it was a real problem for my Hankook all season tires. When I saw the tread pattern on these tires it made me think of the treads on a snowmobile. I took a shot on them. I couldn’t be happier. These tires rip up my driveway with ease. They also have incredible grip going down the snowy driveway. These tires are the best tires I’ve ever had. Thanks Michelin!

The 32 hour drive from Texas to Maine, on mostly dry roads (all highway) was very nice, I do believe that these tires are quieter that the Bridgestones that they replaced. And if there was any change in mpg, I did not notice it. As to their performance in winter conditions, I will give you the daughters report of driving on the snow covered roads in maine…....(it seemed fairly positive to me)..…. “ it’s like driving a tank”. I bought these for my wife's Subaru Crosstrek when the original set needed replacement and I have never heard the end of it. They're okay around town but when you get up to highway speeds you can't hear yourself think. Since Michelins last a long time, I'll probably have to suffer with these for 5-6 years!

It is really true that, "you get what you pay for". These tires are so quiet and smooth riding compared to any other brand I have had. Even in the rain you can barely hear these tires compared to other. I am very well pleased with the purchase of these Michelin tires, Great Quality, thank you.

Seems virtually identical compared to the OEM Cont. Cross Contacts on my '19 Acura MDX. Overall 23-24mpg in Montana. Keep in mind lots of mountains and 75-85 mph. I've had tires on MDX's with slightly better dry performance, but not a deal breaker. The CrossClimate2 seems to be a super 3 peak tire for all seasons.

And surprisingly smooth and quiet. Handling is good. Fortunately haven't had to stress test stopping. Mileage not noticeably impacted, but the it is winter. Would definitely recommend.

They give the ride of conventional all-season radials, yet have an M&S rating so that I am legal in the winter if I go out of town to higher altitudes in the winter. A great balance/compromise if you have similar needs.

Secondly, I love my Tesla, because it has get up and go. It is fast on acceleration. With these tires, I notice a great loss in acceleration at stop lights and signs. Lastly, breaking seems a sluggish with these tires. I had the Michelin MXM tires before. Should have staid with them.
Loss of acceleration and breaking. Do Not Recommend.

I commute 120miles per day and currently have 43,000 miles on them. Still silent and trouble free. Wet/rain and snow braking and handling and overall performance makes this tire by far the best car tire on the market.

Very confident of tires. Taking them off for summer to finish of standard ties that came with vehicle, and noticed a huge difference. Looking forward to the return in the fall!

The tread was still good but the tread had separated from the body of the tire. All four! At least they were consistent. I have had really good luck with Michelin tires in the past, and I expect good service from these. Also they seem to maintain their pressure better with change in temperatures.

Winter was already over, so we have yet to see how these CrossClimate 2 tires do on snow and ice, but based on the reviews we read and what we have experienced so far, I say "BRING IT ON!!!"

The tread looks like it can be an aggressive pattern, but on the highway the car is as quiet as can be. Turning is responsive as well in dry conditions. Living around the Poconos, there are many twisty roads. I can't wait to see what these tires can do in the snow. That was a major reason for the purchase.

After nearly 1000 miles these are likely the quietist tires I've owned. I can't wait to see how they work out in the snow. They are terrific in wet weather.

Driving on the same ice and snow, the grip felt almost like I was on dry pavement, the difference was like night and day. Only possible down side is that vehicles following me might slide into me since I can stop much more quickly than they can.

The tires performed great on some questionable roads, some packed with potholes. Upon inspection of the tires at the end of the trip, we found they still looked like new. We love those tires.
