- 4 out of 5 stars review10/20/2023I am a faithful Michelin user for 30 plus years (driving 64 yrs) on light pickups, full size cars and mid size cars, utility van, have a Yukon XL 4 WD with 264,000 miles that has never had anything other than Michelin. I have never been disappointed with Michelin tires until now. Put a set of Cross Climate 2 on a 2017 Ford Escape at 51,638 miles and the car handles great, like an expensive sports car. However the tires are excessively noisy to the point I thought something was wrong with the car, the wheels or what ever. I paid three different tire shops to evaluate, one of which is my primary tire dealer and they all concluded nothing wrong with the car, it's the tires. Used on a 2010 Rav4 V-6. also upgraded to an 18-8 inch rim to run a larger stock size and they run awesome! Mostly dry weather, but rain in AZ can be heavy and they do well. Also great traction for all season if in some snow. Seem to be wearing very well, but I keep up on checking pressures and rotations.

I have them mounted on my Model Y performance, overall the traction is excellent in winter conditions on both ice and light to deep snow up to 12", very comparable to a dedicated winter tires that I have used. Wet traction is also excellent, honestly feels like dry conditions while in wet. I was honestly impressed with how quiet these are, and are very noticeably quieter then the stock 21" that come with the car. The only negative that I can say with these are that you can't really feel the corners, if you are sliding and you often won't notice as soon as you would with a traditional all seaso...

The roads here can get quite bad in the winter. My wife was in an accident(due to bad roads), she lost control and totalled my truck. I wanted her to feel comfortable again driving. These tires are the best tires I've ever seen in the winter. The control on bad roads is amazing. Highly recommend these if you deal with 6 months of winter. Only downfall is they're sighly louder at 80-85mph in the summer. Not bad enough for me to give them anything short of 5 stars.

I have never hydroplaned in these and they are about 90% as good as winter tires on ice. I used to buy the Toyo style like this but did not like them on the really hot days. If you do not want to deal with storing and changing winter tires, these will do the job.
Best tires for Canadian weather.

They last long, rides quietly, and work well in most weather. They are a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it for safety and durability. Not a full winter tire, but great for year-round use.

These tires a "meaty" and, while I have lost some MPGs, they are my favorite tire I've had on either car. I've put them to the test several days and nights driving in snow and ice and they haven't let me down yet. I'll be trekking around the mountains of Colorado this summer and see how they do in all the heat.

They are the best ever in heavy rain for steering control. Have not tried them in snow. I had a flat on the rear and had no indicators till a passing motorist motioned me over. The tire tread design might be an acquired taste for some,but are worth the extra cost for the quiet ride ,safety and dependibility. I'll put them on my wife's Avalon.

I put Snow tires on the vehicle last winter and changed them back to these tires last spring. I have driven on them for two summers for 21K miles. I am having them put my snow tires back on now, and these tires are at 2/32", so they will not put them back on again next spring. I asked about the mileage warranty and was told that Michelin told them it is half the stated value because the tire is on an EV vehicle. That the tire is not made for EV vehicles. This information is not on any documentation that I can find. Their website says, "Michelin is the best in inclement all-weather performance on EVs." I got a third of the mileage that Michelin claims these tires should last. I feel cheated.

Very smooth on the road and I just love the look of them. I find them to be a much better tire than my previous All Season Tires. These tires were purchased for my car. When my SUV is ready for new tires I will definitely be purchasing CrossClimate's.

Speed limits varied between 55 mph and 80 mph. The tires held the road nicely and I felt comfortable at any speed. I was particularly pleased with the performance in an unexpected September snow storm when leaving Yellowstone. The temperature was 33 degrees with about 4 inches of unplowed snow going over Sylvan Pass. Lower speed as expected but curves and changes in elevation were managed well. I was really glad I had my new tires!

The road noise is as good or better than my previous tires. Fuel economy is the same as before. Excellent snow/ice/winter performance for all season tires. Very pleased overall, and I will be considering these in the future as my other vehicles need tires.

We put them on them one day apart so both tires are New. The ride comfort and mpg with the defender is much better. The cross climate is much harder noiser and eats fuel. Unless you are I'm major snow alot the defender is a better every day tire. The cross climate is mire of a sport tire with great winter performance. We are going to switch them out for the defender this week.

Oddly, since I bought them, we winters have been far less severe. On the occasions when there was a snowfall, there was not too much accumulation, so have not had the chance to see how they would fare in deep snow. But they are far superior to all-seasons in terms of traction in slush and partially-frozen pavement. Definite recommendation

These tires exceeded all winter driving expectations, pushing through blizzards and snow covered roads as if a true winter tire, through record snowfall seasons. Matched with a basic awd system, these tires inspired snow driving confidence, never once having to chain up and driving through roads covered in multiple inches of snow. They also performed well during the summer and wet. If you’re looking for a single tire solution for snow/summer and switching tires doesn’t make sense for you, this is your tire.

Made in USA for my size. (215/60/16). The given warranty along with the 3PMSF winter rating is what sold me on these tires. Price seems reasonable given the warranty and excellent reviews.
