[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As my Dad always said, "You get what you pay for." There are less expensive mattresses out there but if you want the ultimate in comfort and quality, Tempur-Pedic is absolutely the 'Gold Standard'. We simply couldn't be happier with our TEMPUR-ProAdapt Soft mattress and as someone with a very bad back, I can attest to its support qualities.

We would never have believed you could make a determination about the comfort of a mattress in a short 5-10 minute in-store trial. But the minute we laid down on Tempur-Pedics, we were sold! The only decision was whether or not to get the hybrid. We ultimately chose the Pro-Adapt hybrid because it provided a little more 'firmness.' As an older couple, we decided we could use the additional support to make getting into and out of the bed easier. So we chose the hybrid. We are 2 months into ownership, and couldn't be happier with our decision. We also got the Tempur-Pedic pillows and love them, too!

I have only had the mattress just under a month, but I am enjoying it greatly. At first, it took some time to get use to the firmness and how it molded around my body as I slept. After a few nights I really appreciate the comfort it provides and how it has helped with my back issues. The product is of the highest quality and sometimes you have to realize that you have to pay a little more for something that will help you as it has myself. It is worth the money to be able to sleep and not wake up stiff and sore. I would highly recommend this mattress to anyone with back problems.

This is our second Tempur-pedic mattress ,our first one we bought 16 years ago ,when they first came out & all it had was one thick piece of foam & as for me i didn't see anything wrong with it ,but my wife was having back problems ,so we bought the Pro-adapt firm & now she has no more back pain ,not everyone will like the firm mattress ,but we are very happy with it.We looked at other brands, but we kept coming back to the Tempur-pedic,it is higher than our old mattress ,but we are getting used to it.

We have not seen any difference yet, we're having worse back and neck pain. We were told to use it for 120 days before we could see any difference. We are using this bed over a little over 2 weeks now. The bed retains heat. So prepare to lower your thermostat. We will give another review after the time frame.

The issue is not with the product. I recently requested an exchange for my newly purchased mattress, to an upgraded more expensive model. Now, keep in mind that it took 32 days to receive my first mattress, including the adjustable bases. (that was also a fight to get) We are coming on 14 days and I still have not received my exchange mattress. I have called more times than I care to mention. Ever time I call, the wait time is awful long. When I finally speak to a "customer" service rep, I get an answer of your order will process in 5 to 7 days, call back. Along with the lovely " have I helped you? and is there anything else I can do?" HA!! You haven't done anything. So, I call back once again. 7 days to be fair. The response, I am sorry, it takes 7 to 10 days for your order to process. So, I call on day 10, then told to call back again. That it takes 10 to 14 days. Today, after being told not once but twice to speak to a special department and being on hold. AND hung up on twice. I am still no where. And calling on day 15. DO NOT, DO NOT purchase from on-line. Find a store, compare your prices. Do not get stuck in this horrible nightmare! When I asked if I could cancel my whole order and how long it would take for funds to be retransmitted. 10 to 14 days.......

We love our split king pro adapt medium hybrid. I also love the pillows we ordered. We got 2 king size from the cloud collection. It was the $200 one with cooling technology. We also got the 2 for $99 cloud cooling regular size for between my knees. The customer service is awesome. We had a celebrity mattress that was discontinued. It was causing back pain. They refunded the price that was paid 9 years ago to go toward a new mattress. I highly recommend tempurpedic. I love the cooling technology!!!

I have 4 bulging discs in my back and sleeping had become so painful I'd opt to sleep on the floor or couch at times. I also sleep hot and experienced the heat of a poor quality memory foam. Since getting my ProAdapt Firm I'm finally able to sleep pain-free and get out of the bed without having to creatively "roll" out of bed. I am so in love and grateful. It was quite an investment, but it cut down on numbness and shooting pain was amazing. I did try the Pro Adapt Medium at first because I was afraid the Firm would be too stiff but boy was I wrong so I swapped it for the Firm...go with the Firm if you need the support. It will conform. It is AMAZING. If only I could afford the Tempur Breeze King-size in a Firm so I could get rid of my boyfriend's Nectar!!!!! I'd be winning everywhere.

We previously had a Tempur-Pedic mattress that we bought in 2005 and we were/are still using it with no problems. When we were going to purchase this mattress and then we chickened out because of the price and purchased a cheaper version. Before we actually used it we recanted, and returned the cheaper version and purchased this. Glad we did with no complaints. Worth the money!

We have owned a TempurPedic mattress for many years, our old queen size was still as good as new, we put it in our guest room. My wife needed a firm mattress due to back and hip pain. The Tempur- ProAdapt Firm mattress was just the ticket. We have slept on it for 45 days and she has been pain free ever since. It takes at least 30 days to get broken in, at first it was too firm for me but now I am very comfortable sleeping on it.
