[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was extremely hesitant to spend close to $4k on a bed, but having slept on a friend's tempurpedic for 3 nights with significantly less back pain, I knew it was worth it. After 9 mos of a herniated L5-S1, I am finally sleeping soundly.

The Tempur-Pedic brand comes with so many reviews and experiences that I was unsure as to the value and as to which version I should purchase. After months of trying out the Pro- adapt line, I settled on the soft. Night one felt a bit too firm. I read about walking on the mattress to break it in. I did that. Night two was great, and I can tell it will only get better. The bed is not too hot. It's not too hard to move on. It's supportive and very comfortable. I'm glad I got a Tempur-Pedic. And I'm glad I got the soft. The only complaint I have is that the mattress is not heavy enough to keep my top sheet from pulling out at the base; but I'll figure that out. Save yourself some time. Buy the soft Pro - adapt.

My husband is a stomach sleeper so the only choice was the Pro-Adapt Firm. I was nervous it would be TOO Firm and not my comfy Tempur-pedic I had grown to love. We went to the store just so we could try everything thing out to be sure. We are 30 days in and I love it. Well, we BOTH love it. We got the adjustable base as well and I think everynight I say to my husband...I LOVE OUR BED!!

Our original tempurpedic lasted 15 years before getting worn. We bought another brand foam mattress at a lower cost. Started having backaches and sciatic nerve issues. After 88 nights returned it and got our new Tempurpedic. Instant relief and felt like our original tempur when it was new. Will never own anything else. These firm mattresses are wonderful.

We love this mattress. We've slept on it for several months now and love it more and more every day. We did try the medium firmness mattress and did not like it at all, but the soft is perfect for us. We've owned Sleep Number beds, exclusively for 20+ years, but decided to try something different and are so glad we did. Would highly recommend this mattress to everyone. We also purchased your adjustable base, which is a first for us, that we would also recommend. Thanks for the great products!

The combination of TEMPUR material and premium spring coils brings comfort, pressure relief, and reinforcement-a true blessing after a long day of work and a lengthy drive home. The pressure-relieving foam provides soothing support to my back problem. What I appreciate most is the breathable material and SmartClimate Cover System, ensuring I stay cool throughout the night. Waking up feeling hot and uncomfortable was a major issue for me before, but not with this mattress. Additionally, its removable and washable cover makes it super easy to keep clean. It's currently a little firmer than medium, but I understand that it needs to 'break in' to my body and will hopefully soften over time to its true feel and provide the perfect balance of support and plushness for an even more restful night's sleep. I've tried several different beds in the past and decided to give Tempur-Pedic a try and let me just say that they did not disappoint. I splurged and bought myself the king medium hybrid and have been sleeping through the night. Usually I toss and turn but this thing is so comfortable. I don't get back pain and when I workout hard and have sore muscles it's comforting to get to just lay on it and know I'll be getting a good nights sleep. Do yourself a favor and give them a try!!

The price for these mattresses and adjustable bases are outrageous! With that said, we are about 1 month into using our mattress and it is hard to get out of bed in the morning because you sleep so deeply. I swear this mattress makes you sleep longer and deeper, which is great for me. I used to take forever to fall asleep and then wake up every couple of hours between the night...not anymore. Love the firmness, yet not firm. Love the way it contours to your body but doesn't "suck" you in. One big flaw, the mattress is very hot! Supposedly it has cooling technology, but doesn't seem to work because we were both waking up in a pile of sweat. The good news is that we bought a cooling mattress pad from a local store that didn't break the bank and it solved the problem. We thought about trading it in before we bought the cooling mattress pad for the Tempur-pedic that has the most cooling technology, but that one was even more expensive. Bought the cooling pad and have no sweating issues anymore. To sum it up, price is very steep, but I have never slept better once I purchased a mattress cooling pad for it.

I had a 22 year old Tempur pedic mattress and for about a year I was waking up with a back ache. It goes away after I start moving around. I thought I should get a new mattress. It is a very hard decision to make when you pick out a mattress. I'm still not convinced that I have made the right choice and I still don't know if I should return it. I still wake up with pain, but it's not as bad. I have no pain while I sleep and no pain during the day after the pain goes away in the morning.
