These were awesome steaks: great flavor and perfect texture. We buy all our special occasion steaks at Sam's.

Steaks ate always delicious. Whenever we grill these, our guests are astounded when we tell them the steaks are from Sam's. They are of equal if not superior quality as the filets we have purchased from our local butcher. Excellent steaks.

They were pretty good. Only about 1" thick. I usually go 1.5-2". Quick iron skillet sear on both sides for ~3 min each side for nice and rare--red center with a 1/8" crust

We buy these steaks because they are always very tender. I season them the way we like them and then vacuum seal them (2 to a package) and keep a supply in our larger freezer.

We froze them b4 grilling because of time between purchase and our event. Even though they were frozen 1st they grilled up so wonderfully. They were perfect.

These steaks were amazing. My husband grilled them and they were tender and flavorful. Definitely a cut above the ones we have had at the local steakhouse. Look for a package with even marbling of the fat. We will definitely purchase again!

A real disappointment. Two of the steaks were tough and didn't taste like filet. The other two were less tough but still didn't taste like filet. I've purchased this many times before and it has been hit or miss lately.

slightly more fat than the higher quality filet, but absolutely great flavor and tenderness. highly recommended. price of beef is really off the charts right now, though. eating this well gets very expensive really quick.

Save your money, toughest meat I ever bought!! Big disappointment definitely not worth $20 a pound, I wouldn't pay $2.00 a pound for this crappest cut of meat. Tough is being nice about the quality of these steaks. I have been a member for over 45 years and NEVER EVER got such a tough cut of meat. I was so embarassed that I served this to guests. At least the mushrooms were excellent. Total waste of my $60.71 never ever again.

Very tender after marinating. Did have to cut away a little fat on each. Excellent!
