just get it

I'm not usually into writing reviews, I'm used to just reading them and helping them influence my decision. But, every once in awhile I'll write on and it either has to be really good or really really bad. This sound bar is amazing. My LG one that was a 4.1 that was around 8 years old finally decided it was done. Went with this because it's on sale by $120 off and it's totally worth it. The Dolby Atmos DTS is amazing!!! Not real hard to set up and pair I used the HDMI and e-arc direct into the TV and aligned my TV settings on my TCL TV. The only struggle I had was the rear speakers you have to get the wiring in just right, but when you do they work perfect.

Hello John,

We appreciate you taking a moment to review the HW-Q65C Samsung Soundbar. We value your feedback and will share it with our teams.

Occasionally, customers have trouble hiding and running speaker wires from the front of the room (where their soundbar is) to the back of their room (where they have their rear speakers). The Rear Speaker Kit eliminates that hassle. Connect the rear speakers to its wireless module and place these three in the back of your room. One wire is required to connect each rear speaker to the wireless module. Then plug in the power cable to the module. The “wireless” convenience is in connecting your soundbar and any other speakers at the front of the room to the rear speakers – this can now be done via Wi-Fi through the wireless module, eliminating any clutter of long wires running the length of your room.

If we can help with anything else, please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG (Ask for Soundbars), Mon – Fri 8 AM – 9 PM EST, Sat & Sun 8 AM – 6 PM EST. Live Chat with an agent as well as manuals, software, creating a service ticket, and warranty info can be found at the ‘Support’ link on our Samsung website.

~ Samsung Solutions

Hi Mark,

Thank you for sharing your review of Samsung’s HW-Q65C Soundbar. We’re sorry your experience didn’t match your expectations.

When powered on for the first time, the rear speakers should automatically connect wirelessly. If the auto-connection process fails, you can try manually connecting the rears to the soundbar.

To setup the wireless rear speaker kit included with the soundbar, first use the color-coded speaker wires to connect the rear speakers to its wireless module and place these three in the back of your room. Plug the wireless receiver module power cord into an electrical outlet and into the wireless receiver module to turn on the wireless receiver module.

Press and hold the ID SET button on the back of the wireless module for at least 5 seconds or until the blue light starts blinking. Turn off your soundbar and press the Up button on the remote for 5 seconds. The ID SET message will appear on the soundbar for a short time and then disappear. After the ID SET process, the soundbar power is automatically turned on. The LINK LED indicator stops blinking and glows a solid blue when a connection is established between the soundbar and the wireless receiver module.

If you need more help, Samsung is here for you. Please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, Mon – Fri 8 AM – 9 PM EST, Sat & Sun 8 AM – 6 PM EST. Live Chat with an agent as well as manuals, software, creating a service ticket, and warranty info can be found at the ‘Support’ link on our Samsung website.

~ Samsung Solutions

limited sound control

sound is much bettrr than the single bar but the sound control leaves something to be desired. I prefer a full blown EQ, and balance controls.

Samsung Sounbar

Really helped my 95-year-old mother hear and understand dialogue better. Worth the money in my opinion.

Great immersion and q symphony synchronization.

The immersion at this price range is great, especially for our bedroom. It makes me want to test the high q90 series. The synch with q symphony is a wonderful feature for audio clarity.
