I play a lot of first person shooter and the subwoofer hits them lows so nicely. When a grenade blows up on the left side of my character in the game it sounds like it blew up to my left in real life. Music on this system... dang! Even my neighbors above me get to enjoy it too! :)

When I first turn everything on I tried out a movie that has a excellent soundtrack and that would really test it to its limits and everything came out clear I didn't really need to do any adjusting and could use the preset sound profiles to get the experience I wanted. The base was strong enough made me feel it and the other speakers how to clean crisp sound that wasn't distorted.

When I wanted to watch movies with more intense scenes, i.e. loud sounds, yelling or talking, and music scores the audio seemed to have issues balancing them out. Music sounds phenomenal the system is loud for listening in other room or around the house while doing other tasks. Overall for an apartment or small home this unit is a great pairing. For larger rooms and homes I'd upgrade to the next up or go with a bigger system all together.
