It appears to work really well for the grass, but the clover and dollar weeds are taking forever to respond. It’s been 3 weeks and maybe half of them are starting to turn yellow around the edges.

I bought this at Sam’s and it was such a better price than I would have paid at other places. Living in Texas, this is one of the best lawn fertilizers.

This fertilizer should not be stocked in the Texas panhandle. Saint Augustine grass does not grow anywhere north of Vernon, Texas. I purchased a bag of this, not knowing that it is only for Saint Augustine Grass. The fertilizer I purchased from Sam’s Club killed 5000 ft.² of my fescue. I spoke to the manager at the Sam’s Club on Sunnie Road in Amarillo Texas, and ask them not to carry anymore. Several of the local landscape stores stated that it happens every year, and people lose their lawns due to applying fertilizer. Please do not stock it Anywhere in the Panhandle of Texas.

Quality control is an issue with this product I had large chucks of cake (raw product) that clogged spreader with some larger chunks making it through witch is a concern for burning lawn and hurting pets. Overall Scotts Bonus F..... Failure on production and quality control. Buy an inexpensive product which will have better quality control.
