Had a craving for caprese salad, so I ordered this cheese, and some on-the-vine tomatoes, also from Sam's. The taste, texture, quality, are excellent. Taste like 5 star restaurant quality mozzarella. Tastes fresh. The fact that the package has 2 separately sealed sections is a plus. I would buy again and would recommend.

I love this cheese, and just noticed that so do the testers on America’s Test Kitchen. Great for salads, snacking, and I even melt on bread with tomatoes.

This is likely the best price you will find for this mozzarella. That said, you are far better off spending more and getting a by far superior mozzarella. Toscana's fior di latte and Fresh Market's in-store freshly made mozzarella come to mind as some alternatives. If you're cooking from scratch, avoid this cheese. If you're just needing cheap mozzarella for a large crowd, then this is your go-to. Personally, I prefer quality and refuse to buy this again.

For years I have bought Shredded Mozzarella but during my last visit to Sam's I picked this product up. What a difference maker, I made a pizza at home using this cheese and it was fantastic. I am not one to write many reviews but when I purchase a product that really impresses me I will take the time. There is no comparison at all between this cheese and the shredded cheese that you would purchase at your favorite grocery store. For the first time I was able to make pizza at home that rivals the best pizza restaurants in my local area.
