Excellent Tires!

These tires are nice! My first time buy Michelin Tires. I’m really impressed by the smooth ride and how they make my Chevy Colorado handle. Highly recommend these tires.

DO NOT BUY

Installed on 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 and had terrible vibration and bouncing. Balanced 4 times and last was road force balanced. NO CHANGE!!! Shop replaced and new tires are just as bad. BUYER BEWARE. Shop has tried to make it right but they are the one losing due to bad Michelin tires.

    Great set of tires

Had them before on my wifes QX80, then went with another tire the last time. I came back to these this time. they run quiet, they did great for my wife in both the rain and the snow. They also lasted really close to their general rated amount.

    GREAT JOB SAM’S CLUB!

Great tires at a very good price. We got 60K plus miles out of our original Michelin tires. Sam’s service team made the installation easy and convenient. Highly recommended for your next tire purchase.

    Great tire for Trucks

I purchased these tires based on consumer reviews of comfort handling, durability and treadwear, I have had them in the past and they were a terrific tire for my truck (Ram 2500) I was more than pleased with the tires.

    Smooth as butter!!

Smooth and quiet!! I replaced a set of original factory tires on my Chevy Tahoe, what a difference! I immediately noticed the quieter ride with much less road noise and less shock over bumps in the road. Will see how they do in the long run.

I have 51000 miles on my f 150 truck tires Michelin 275/60r20. They look almost new with plenty of tread remaining. Smooth, noise free riding tire. No uneven wearing,no flats, always maintained air pressure. Rotated every 6,000 miles. Very pleased with performance.

Dependable, Durable, Best Riding Tire for a Pickup, and The Best Value for your Money!

I've had Michelin Defenders on my last four trucks and all of them had long life, extremely high tread life, were very durable, towed with each and NEVER left me stranded. As a matter of fact, I've never had a flat or leak with Michelins thus I replace the factory set on my new trucks as soon as I purchase the truck. The comfort of the ride is always improved by the Michelins and peace of mind is guaranteed with every Michelin I've purchased in my life.

    Road noise

I’m very happy with the quality of the tire but I feel I choose the wrong model for my truck. It’s very loud on the road , I’m very unhappy with the tires .

My Third Set, My Second Set Saved My Life

I heard the name "Michelin Man" decades ago. My first introduction to car safety came from seeing a blowout at high speed. A man who rebuilt a big-block in my Mustang explained that the best tires are Michelin. Decades later, a microburst dropped a record 19 inches of rain per hour on I-45. I could see the rooster tail of the water my tires pumped out of the way as I moved forward. Countless vehicles around me went off the road. Many were hurt, two died, and I was shaken. And the ride is quieter, more comfortable, and always gets me where I am going. So, yeah, you can call me a Michelin Man!

    Yes

Just couldn’t say enough. Paying a little bit more money upfront means a huge return later on down the road so to speak. My Michelin defender ones lasted 70,000 miles and we’re showing slight signs of cracking. The traction was still very good and if I had to, I could’ve pushed it another year. I had them rotated and balanced once about 40,000 miles ago, we’ve been across the country twice and I tow regularly. Just doubled down on a good thing then purchased the defender twos. Best of the best in my opinion. If there had to be one complaint with the first tire would be that it picked up small rocks on gravel surfaces. A very small price to pay, Along with the cost for this type of quality. The quiet, the ride quality, limited body roll, etc...

    Very disappointed. Returned them.

I was very disappointed with these tires. They were noisy, rode roughly, and couldn't be balanced correctly. Luckily my dealer took them off and switched them to Toyo tires. There's no comparison! My dealer told me that Michelin tires are going down in quality. I hated to hear that as I'd always been a loyal customer.

Quiet, efficient, good looking tires mostly for on-road service.

Quiet, efficient, good looking tires mostly for on-road service. Comfortable on the od good grip and low noise. Thread is strong and long lasting. However, shoulders are fragile and easy to puncture (non repairable) or get bumps. That's why I'd suggest to stick to the paved roads only.

Best light truck tire on the market!

When ordering a new GMC, I read as many tire reviews as I could find. The Michelin Defender LTX M/S generation 2 was receiving rave reviews. After a lifetime of burning through all brands of tires on a variety of sports cars, trucks and passenger cars, experience has taught me to stick with Michelin. And these new Gen 2 offerings were the best performing truck tire for the road, bar none. They also had the best warranty. They are more than adequate for light off roading and boat ramps, but on the road are the smoothest and quietest tires I hae had on any truck. I’ve run everything, from road tires to All Terrains to Mud tires, even installing non radial tires on a swamp buggy I owned. (Safer when airing down for very rugged conditions off r...

    Confidence inspiring

These are not winter tires, these are not meant to replace winter tires BUT if you are like me and rock all seasons all year long- these are the tires you’re looking for. This past winter (in a pickup truck) I was able to slowly crawl down a slippery mountain road, I passed by over a dozen cars pulled over, 3 accidents, and watched someone lose control and graze the guardrail. I drove slowly and with extreme caution- but these tires never slipped once.

    Smooth Quiet & Responsive

2018 4Runner do not buy these tires if you are looking for curb appeal. These tires are as plain jane, no cool factor or attitude at all. But they are quiet, smooth & responsive. I have driven in mud snow rain, no problem. I would say overall this tire checks 99.9% of what you want out of a tire. The toyota avalon of tires lol not pretty buy super solid

LTX MS2 has changed, expect Road Noise

I have purchased 6 sets of Michelin LTX MS tires, the last 3 sets are the newer Defender LTX MS2 version. I have no complaints with ride quality or performance, but the new versions have no had the same tread wear longevity, and the last 2 sets are much louder than they used to be. I first noticed it 6 months ago replacing a different brand with Michelins on an FJ Cruiser, but confirmed when replacing older MS2s with new ones today. Tire noise appeared instantly after install. Frequency and volume both become obvious approaching 50mph and after. Very disappointing change from what were the best tires I’ve ever had in 50 years. Not sure I can live with these.

    Not worth the money

Was excited to try out some Michelin tires on my Yukon. Went for an oil change and a tire rotation other day, mechanic told me he couldn’t rotate them because they were completely wore out!!! And it would not pass MVI!!! I went with the defenders because it had the best rating, unfortunately for the amount of money I paid I got half the life span out of them compared to the Bridgestone I had on it before, sometimes the reviews get it wrong, definitely did in my case, they were wore out after a year with next to no mileage and would not keep air.

When they have a michelin brand why would you go anywhere else.

bought the tires as a replacement for my 2019 Toyota? Tundra, 4 wheel drive tires are fantastic in the snow. Tires are very smooth. I used a decimal meter to compare the noise level with the previous set of tires. I had and they are quiet as a mouse plan to enjoy these tires for the next eighty thousand miles

BRING BACK THE LTX MS IN A 20 INCH TIRE

I have always been a Michelin fan, especially of the LTXMX2 tires. Bought a new GMC SIERRA SLT X31 in June 2025, took off the Bridgestones dueler tires from factory. put on the newest version of the Defender ms2 tires, and they ride the same but I will say they do not handle snow very well. The outside tread no longer has the same sipe as the past tires. They still make the LTX JX2 tires but not in 20 inch options, they need to bring these back. If not I will have to ex-ore another brand.

One heck of a fantastic tire!

Mitch defender LTX MS2 A 75000 mile warranty. WOW!! The tread dept is totally awesome....The old bias ply L series tire is where you might come close to this tread depth. Instantly noticed a smoother ride and a lot more stability. Railroad tracks were lots better. Stopping distance is much shorter than with my previous tires.
