This is a great tire if you are looking for a quite, smooth, comfortable ride. One of the reasons I purchased this tire is the mileage warranty from Michelin. Along with that, I read several reviews of people who bought this same tire and it lasted way past the warranty, some as much as 120K miles! I am confident I will continue to be happy with my Michelin tire purchase as they are the best SUV tires on the road. Excellent Tire !

- 5 out of 5 stars review8/9/2026I own a 2024 Landcruiser and the OEM LXT Trail ties needed replacement. Replaced with the Defender LTX MS/2 and so much better of a tire. So much more stable and controlled ride. The tire is heavier than the LTX Trail and I did see a drop of about 3% in fuel economy - but that is a good trade off for the far superior drive performance.

There is definitely a sense of pride when I look at these tires, knowing I made the right choice. As a retired professional driver I take tire safety very seriously. I tow a boat and two RVs and the Defenders give me peace of mind.

The MS/2 is a far more stable and better handling tire that looks better too in my opinion. Mileage dropped some because the MS/2 is a heavier XL rated tire, with a more aggressive tread design and better traction.
Good replacement for OEM tires on new Land Cruisers - Far Better

- 2 out of 5 stars review8/19/2026The ride on these tires are rough! not comfortable at all. Very different compared to the original defender ltx m/s which I still have in my wife's car. Bought these tires thinking they were the same.... NOPE not even close. Not to mention they are hard to balance. Need to "road force" balancer to get them right. The only attributes I can say is that they handle pretty good and they are not bad in the rain. BUT since the ride quality is atrocious, then the good not matter no more. Do yourself a favor and go get some Continentals.

Shop replaced and new tires are just as bad. BUYER BEWARE. Shop has tried to make it right but they are the one losing due to bad Michelin tires.
