this refrigerator makes on tiny ice tray at a time, like an old fashioned ice tray. then that one tray, dumps upside down and that's all you get. if one tray is enough for your family, that might be okay for you, but its a joke in my house. very strange and disappointing!

I bought this refrigerator in May of 22'. It currently has fault code 21c and is completely inoperative. I will most likely not have this repaired. I'm out of full warranty, and only have the limited warranty remaining. So I would have to most likely pay to have a diagnostic visit, and for whatever repair costs incurred thereafter. Which doesn't bother me, however....it is less than two years old. What will happen in another two years? Probably another failure. More food and time wasted. I have no confidence in this product. I moved all of my freezer and refrigerator items into my twenty year old refrigerator. That is what I have my confidence in, and another brand when I have to buy again.

We are so happy to have a beautiful new appliance that combines beauty with outstanding performance. Included with all the storage space, is all the many shelves and compartments Samsung included to allow separation of items. Now our food can be sorted and stored more efficiently and properly. The stainless steel and finger print resistance is such a great option. And don't let me forget the water and ice dispenser. These two features we did not have before and its so convenient to have ice and water so convenient. Thank you Samsung. We highly recommend.

The inside shelves have great spacing and depth for multiple items and leftovers still in pots or pans. The freeze side has an icemaker built-in the door which gives you more space for freezing meats and frozen foods.

Have had the unit a couple of weeks now and have no complaints at all. It's very quiet and nice and bright inside. Finally plumbed in a water line to it so the water and ice-maker are working and it's very efficient. Definitely a major upgrade over our old unit. Very roomy on both the fridge and the freezer with plenty of door and shelf space which are all adjustable. The ice-maker is built into the door of the freezer so doesn't take up valuable room. Aesthetically the unit looks absolutely wonderful in the kitchen and is very well designed. It's also nice that the door handles are recessed in the doors so don't protrude at all. Would highly recommend to anybody. Five Stars! *****

I thought the ice maker on my old 2008 refrigerator was bad, but this one is very noisy both while making ice and also dispensing it. The ice maker also gives me crushed ice in half my glass when I have it on "cubes" dispensing. Also, there is NO LIGHT where the water and ice are dispensed.

i chose this fridge due to the space it held. i like the layout & space. having the ice maker built into the door saves space in the freezer. when i store milk gallons on the bottom shelf along the back wall, they will freeze. we chose the black stainless steel after having a hard time finding a plain black fridge. the black stainless steel is very pretty but sensitive. it definitely does show fingerprints, watermarks, etc & also scratches easily. we have only had it a little over two months and it already shows scuffs on the doors & we have no idea where they came from. it is a fragile finish & the scuffs show quite a bit on this surface. i like the space of the fridge, but if you are concerned about scuffs & external durability, definitely choose a different type of finish.

the refrigerator look and operation is fine. however, it has been impossible to remove all of the plastic. I worked on it for hours; the worst part is that the plastic wrap is manufactured by Samsung to be under the seals and into the actual metal seams. a month later, i still haven't been able to remove all the plastic remnants, despite painstaking work with tweezers. for this reason i can't recommend purchasing this refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not had a side by side refrigerator in ages and i was very skeptical to switch from a four door to a two door. Interestingly, i was pleasantly surprised. The interior has super smooth glass shelves that allow them to be fully utilized for stacking items. The door shelves are very sturdy and allow for a great assortment of items to be stored there. Large bottles of juice and even smaller condiments fit nicely. The freezer section was where i was most pleased, the shelving is very strong and sturdy. I was able to pack in all my meats and frozen vegetables each in their own section. Spacing is wonderful. The exterior of the fridge has a beautiful smooth finish. It is easy to clean and most importantly keep clean! The handle to open the doors is the best part! There are no handles. There are cutouts in the frame of the door which allow your hand to easily open and close them. I would highly recommend this refrigerator for its design, spacing, finish and well thought out capacity. I am actually a little sad at not getting it sooner. One more interesting point is it seals in the temperature of the inside and does not allow for temperature decrease which keeps items fresh for longer.

The old refrigerator's ice maker hadn't worked in years. This refrigerator's ice maker works great and makes life much easier. My only complaint is that it occasionally drips water at the cold-water dispenser after we replaced the water filter which is why i only gave it 4 stars.
