I replaced the original battery in our Mercedes S550 in June of 2023 with this Duracell battery which had a 5/2023 date sticker. That battery just died on the 1st of November 2024 so a $200 battery only lasted 1 year and 5 months while living in the climate controlled trunk of a Mercedes. I got a replacement from Sam's under warranty but I will never again purchased a Duracell battery. Moving forward it will only be Interstate Batteries for me.

Goes out every winter, batteries freeze. Too much water in them.

Last just 3 1/2 years.

Bought a battery 3 years and 1 month ago. Dead! 3 year free replacement ohh it’s 1 month over warranty. (Can’t help me. Are u kidding me. 140 bucks for a battery JUNK lasted 1 month over warranty. A battery should last a lot more than 3 years. Sorry SAMs I lost my business.

I'm am surprised that the ratings are so high on this battery. It's cost are above the average one. I purchased it in June of 2018 and am having to replace it now in September of 2020. My vehicle is a 2012 4 cylinder GMC. I replaced my factory Delco battery that came with it (that still worked), because of it's age! I have low mileage on my vehicle also and it's driven with care. You be the judge of whether you want to risk getting a lemon by purchasing this battery. It's been an inconvenience for me having to take it to my mechanic for diagnosis because it caused other electronic devices to NOT work in addition to hesitating to start. They have to pull the battery, I must return it to Sam's for a replacement then take it back to the shop because my vehicle cannot be driven without a battery. I also have the labor cost to pay at my mechanics shop!

Barely lasted 3.5 years. OEM went 11 years!! Terrible battery
