I thought spending a little more on Hormel would make a difference but it actually is worse than Kroger brand thick cut bacon. Think I'll stick with the Kroger brand thick cut bacon.

The quality is good, because it is not all fat like some bacon, but it may not seem like a lot when done. So it just depends on what you are serving it with.
