This is the 4th Duracell car battery I have purchased at the Club. The first one is over 3 years and is still going although it was a warranty replacement after the original died early. It was replaced, no questions asked. The other 3 were all in the past 3 months in 3 different Ford cars with 5 year warranty Motorcraft batteries. I was given the run-a-round when trying to cash in on the remaining warranty, so I got these instead. they were cheaper and I got 2 of them on sale. So far, all four are doing fine. Hopefully these last 3 will last as long as the first.

Sam's club always delivers. This battery is 200$ everywhere. Got it for 140 at sam's with free installation. Auto guys were also super nice.

Works just like the OEM battery at half the price. I've got Duracell batteries in my lawn mower, tractor, truck, boat and ATV. About the only one left is our SUV, and when it needs a battery, I'll be heading to Sam's.

This purchase was to replace a Duracell 96R battery for a 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid. The last Duracell lasted five and a half years as the original Motorcraft battery lasted three in sunny and hot south Florida. As a retired full service Amoco station dealer, East Penn who makes Duracell and Johnson Controls are the only two battery makers I have used for the past 40 years.

Heard horrible things of Duracell auto batts in the past but in 2013 it was the cheapest and had a 3yr replacement so I tried it. Well 6yrs and 10 months later I am having to replace it. Sad the OEM lasted 2.5 years and was a daily driver and this is 6+ years and died an honorable death. Placed it in service 8/2013. Keep in mind since 2015 it was a daily then weekly and in the last two years a monthly driver so that puts a lot of stress on the battery when not used often. I can think of a 90day period we didn’t drive it. Don’t think we every added water or needed a jump and in this Texas Heat I’m off to Sams again and get another. And hopefully I’ll write this again in another 6yrs.

I installed a Duracell 96R battery in our 2010 Ford Focus with a 4-cyl, 2.0 liter engine in January 2016 and we are now halfway through January 2021. So, so far it has lasted 5 years. I am having the tires rotated and balanced at my local Sam's Club this coming week and I believe I will have them also do a battery check while I am there. Depending on what the result is I may by a new replacement (as long as they're still Made in the USA) or may keep the old one installed until the next tire rotation/balance. I've been buying auto-batteries from Sam's Club for a long time and have never been disappointed.

I purchased my first Duracell 96R in July 2018 to replace the OEM Motorcraft battery. Even when new, the original battery would discharge to the point of not being able to start the vehicle if I didn't drive it for three weeks. The Duracell battery will start the vehicle if not driven for four weeks! Even after this duration, the starter spins fast. I am very pleased this battery seems stronger than the OEM battery. So, when another one of my vehicles need a new 96R battery, it was an easy choice. I choose the same battery for it. So, I think I made the smart choice twice over.

I bought the 96R for my 2011 Ford Fusion in October, 2014. It literally lasted 5 years and 12 days since the installation date. I will replace it today after last night's 9.9 / 12 reading on a portable battery jump source. Easy to install, easy on the wallet.

Waiting about 25 before anyone came to greet me. Had an appointment and was seen 40 minutes later. Didn't know which battery I needed.

I purchased this battery in Aug 2020. Since then the batteries ability to hold a charge degraded to the point that I will take it in for a replacement. The previous battery was not a Duracell and it lasted 7 years. I am very disappointed in the quality of the battery. Unfortunately all batteries are manufactured by a few small group of companies marketed under many names. If I could do it I would replace this with a Li-ION battery.
