Peanut oil is the best oil to fry things with as it doesn't burn. love the big size they sell it in.

Couldn't believe what a good a price. I love frying in peanut oil, but it was always too expensive to buy before I saw this brand.

Arrived as expected. It was rattling around its box a bit. Might be better to pack it more securely.

I love Lou-Ann Peanut Oil for it's spot-on, consistent quality, it is simply the best frying oil I use.

It really brings out the taste of whatever food you are frying. Leaves no odor & has a high smoke point.

This oil doesn't 'taste' of peanut like some of the cold pressed ones do. It is more refined and tastes neutral. I am not complaining.

I would give it 5 stars but for my taste I like a stronger flavored peanut oil, but the LouAna is great for making mayo, and salad dressing.

I bought this for making tempura. It worked great. I accidentally took the oil to 426° fahrenheit ~ no smoke, no bad effects! The oil did not have any special scent before I cooked with it, but it gave the most incredible flavor to both the sweet potatoes and the shrimp that I cooked in it! I'll always recommend and use LouAna peanut oil for tempura or frying! It was priced really competitively!

I really enjoy the aroma from Asian style peanut oil and use it as salad dressing oil. I used to buy it from 99 Ranch Supermarket. Turns out this time the oil is different. This one is more suitable for deep frying or cooking. I googled their difference. This refined one has a neutral aroma (you almost smell nothing in it), but the cold press peanut oil or roasted peanut oil always smell very well. I guess I made the wrong choice. But would still keep it for cooking.

Price has gone up since I last purchased this but it's still a value. Especially since the 3 gallon version of same is 19 bucks online as opposed to 18 or so here!!! Makes absolutely no sense. So this is my preferred size. Cooking at proper temperatures means it doesn't absorb as easily into the item being fried and is not greasy. I have no problem with this product and will continue to buy.
