I see others rating these highly for espresso, but I didn't have any luck with them. They produced shots with a lot of channeling. They were darker than I was expecting. Perhaps they were stale. When I mixed them with some beans I freshly roasted, I got decent shots but not when they were on their own. I won't be purchasing them again.

I've ordered many bags of coffee beans through Sam's and I can easily say this is the best. I found it to be only slightly darker than a medium roast, which is perfect for me. A 4 pound bag is huge, so I won't need to reorder for a while. But I'll definitely reorder this coffee when the time comes.

Delivered fast. Opened bag to find the beans very shiny and oily wet feeling. I called to return and instead I had them send another bag of same item to replace. Next bag of Coffee beans were in same condition. Date was good on both bags. Must have been over roasted? NO GOOD

I’ve been ordering this specific Cameron’s Coffee Bean for the last 3 years or more and thought I’d settled on a go to quality flavorful coffee, but the last two 4lb bags were noticeably weak in flavor compared to all the other 4lb bags I’ve ordered. So disappointing to see that Cameron’s has obviously cut corners on quality & flavor while significantly increasing the price. Strike two was enough for me decide to never again order this expensive bland coffee bean.

A light to medium city roast, almost dark (full city) with a bold and tasty hint of natural sweetness. As a home roaster, I am not a fan of most commercial brands, but this is one fine roast! If you like a bold but sweet chocolaty coffee flavor, this is your new favorite. Unfortunately as I review this Sam's Club is out. ☹️

This coffee was my go to for a couple of years. It seems like everything, quality is going down and price is going up. We used to get Pablo's pride and that quality went down so we switched to this. I like a dark roast and try to find organic. It used to be $20 a bag and I don't mind paying $30 a bag now *IF* it were just as good. We don't eat out or get coffees out often. So overall a $30 coffee bean bag is not bad broken down over the month considering how many pots of coffee we make. The beans used to smell excellent and fresh as soon as you opened the bag and our guests would all ask where we got this excellent coffee. But now they almost seem stale when you open them %26 no one is mentioning the coffee or complimenting it. It's just “ok.” That's not acceptable at this price point. They are also not available in the store so you have to remember to order them before you run out since shipping can sometimes take 2 weeks. I'm going to look for something else.

Ordered on the 13th, they canceled the order on the 24th. There was no way to track, or find out what was going on. There was no notification that they ran out of the coffee. Nothing. Just left in limbo until I logged back in to see if they shipped it yet. Not happy.

Rich aroma and taste. Highly recommend.
