I prefer to grind my beans for a finer auto drip coffee. I searched the Sam's Club site for various options, and this looked like a great deal for 4 lbs. of beans. They feel firm, smell fresh. The grinder handles the beans, although they take moderate grinding as opposed to say, Espresso beans from other roasters. Anyway, I am not an elite connoisseur but I do like this coffee. I can tell it is organic as it has a lighter aftertaste. The best I can describe the flavor is tropical, the smell offers pecan wood. I drink coffee with cream, and it blends for a rich, smooth cup.

This coffee is tremendous! Starbuck quality. Very fresh. Comes right from the roaster. Quick delivery. Just put a few drops of water in the beans when you place them in your burr grinder to cut the static cling of the grinds!! Hold on to this coffee for your customers, Sam!!

Coffee tastes great. I would definitely purchase again. Beans are fresh, have a good flavor, smell and taste good too. Beans are not dry like the organic lavazza beans sold at Sam’s club. The package was much larger than I had thought. Also very plain packaging but it’s what’s on the inside that counts. Haha

Really enjoying this coffee! Great flavor...never causing any stomach upset. Is a great med-med dark blend which can be difficult to find. I plan to purchase again as the beans were so fresh and it's worth taking time to grind them yielding a delicious morning cup of Joe!

When I opened the bag, the beans looked delicious. They were dark and shiny with a very good aroma. I take my coffee with cream and sugar but also very strong (14 table spoons for 12 cups). With this coffee I am able to use slightly less cream and sugar with a slightly smokey smooth flavor.

Average. No distinctive taste. The fact that it is a blend of lower grade Arabica makes slightly bitter and not particularly enjoyable to drink in the morning.

This coffee was my go to for a couple of years. It seems like everything, quality is going down and price is going up. We used to get Pablo’s pride and that quality went down so we switched to this. I like a dark roast and try to find organic. It used to be $20 a bag and I don’t mind paying $30 a bag now *IF* it were just as good. We don’t eat out or get coffees out often. So overall a $30 coffee bean bag is not bad broken down over the month considering how many pots of coffee we make. The beans used to smell excellent and fresh as soon as you opened the bag and our guests would all ask where we got this excellent coffee. But now they almost seem stale when you open them %26 no one is mentioning the coffee or complimenting it. It’s just “ok.” That’s not acceptable at this price point. They are also not available in the store so you have to remember to order them before you run out since shipping can sometimes take 2 weeks. I’m going to look for something else.

Only out of desperation (not having other beans) did I make the first pot. I actually didn’t know at first where the smell was coming from. I still don’t understand how the beans can smell so bad but the coffee taste OK. All I know is, I will try something else next time.

I prefer a lighter roasted coffee. I bought this because of the price. Description notes medium-dark roast. I would say dark, not medium dark. Next timeI'll go with my preferred light roasted coffee. My mistake.

We used to love this coffee. The last time we ordered it in August, the taste had changed dramatically. Very bitter. Plus it had gone up 30% between our order in April. We returned the three 4 lb bags to our local club. So disappointed.
