A light to medium city roast, almost dark (full city) with a bold and tasty hint of natural sweetness. As a home roaster, I am not a fan of most commercial brands, but this is one fine roast! If you like a bold but sweet chocolaty coffee flavor, this is your new favorite. Unfortunately as I review this Sam's Club is out. ☹️

I found this to be a reasonable daily use bean. Decent flavor but not a burnt taste you get from Starbucks (my opinion). Beans are roasted to a dark color but don't taste like it. Still playing with the grind coarseness and quantity per pot but overall satisfied given the good price point.

This coffee was my go to for a couple of years. It seems like everything, quality is going down and price is going up. We used to get Pablo's pride and that quality went down so we switched to this. I like a dark roast and try to find organic. It used to be $20 a bag and I don't mind paying $30 a bag now *IF* it were just as good. We don't eat out or get coffees out often. So overall a $30 coffee bean bag is not bad broken down over the month considering how many pots of coffee we make. The beans used to smell excellent and fresh as soon as you opened the bag and our guests would all ask where we got this excellent coffee. But now they almost seem stale when you open them %26 no one is mentioning the coffee or complimenting it. It's just “ok.” That's not acceptable at this price point. They are also not available in the store so you have to remember to order them before you run out since shipping can sometimes take 2 weeks. I'm going to look for something else.

I slightly prefer the Cameron med roast - but this is great too!

I've had a lot of coffee in my life, and through all of the brands, roasts, preparation methods and growing regions, I always come back to this Scandinavian roast. I prefer my coffee with a rich, dark flavor and some bitterness to it. I do not like the tang that comes from Columbian coffee. Cameron's Scandinavian Roast has everything that I adore in a good coffee and nothing else. It's perfection, certified organic and makes an absolutely incredible black espresso over ice. In my humble opinion, THERE IS NO BETTER ORGANIC COFFEE THAT EXISTS AT THIS PRICE POINT. The only annoyance is that they don't provide sourcing info for the beans. But it's perfection in a cup, and makes my heart feel super happy.

I have been purchasing these 4 pound organic bags for about a year. They last 2 months, brewing 9 cups a day for the fam. Then, they went out of stock for months, but as soon as they came back, I stocked up. If you like a strong, smooth taste and a nice caffeine kick, and do not mind grinding your coffee fresh before brewing, forget the rest of the blends and roasters. Get this. Sitting here at 5am, about to begin my work day and it is already a bright and beautiful day, amidst all the world's darkness, served in my cup

I had been buying Member's Mark Organic, and happy to have found an affordable organic coffee. When that was no longer available, I was relieved to find this. It is rich tasting without being acidic, and the price for size of the bag is to my liking also.
