Good ground beef for the price. I know there will be people who will only use “grass fed, organic, antibiotic-free, non-gmo, humanely raised, sang to bed every night, pampered life” beef, but this members mark ground beef cooks and tastes just fine. I buy there larger packs when we go camping with large groups and use it to make tacos, smash burgers, meat loaf, etc. I have been buying it for years and have no complaints. The price is very fair and the quality it high. Buy it and you won’t be disappointed

I have been buying the 90/10 ground beef from Sam's Club for quite a while and the last package I purchased had several bone fragments in it. It also tasted a bit off. I thought it was a fluke, so I purchased another container and had the same issue. What has changed? Why are we getting a poor tasting product suddenly that's full of boney pieces?

Our experience at Sam’s in South Charleston, WV, has been unsatisfactory due to the lack of basic items in stock. It would be beneficial to allow substitutions when inventory is insufficient to meet customer demands. This is not an isolated incident; I have previously been unable to purchase ground beef there. Since it is not a holiday, I am curious about the reason for this stock shortage. Had there been an option for substitutes, I would have chosen an alternative product. However, the cancellation without notification demonstrates poor communication. Could you clarify the benefits of maintaining a Sam's Plus membership?

Last bought a package of this a couple weeks ago. Looked OK but something has changed. Have been buying this for several years and it always cooked up nicely, with little fat, good flavor and texture. 5-star rating in the past. This last package cooked up with much more fat and had a chewy texture (less tender). Even after squeezing out the fat with paper towels, the burgers felt and tasted greasy. Maybe this package was just bad, so I'll give it one more try next visit to Sam's. If still bad, won't buy again.

Ok.i bought this 2days ago and I’ve always bought this ground beef for years, when it was 90/10 and even after it became 88/12 because the quality was pretty good,clean ,lean meat ..but I don’t know what you guys are starting to do but this isn’t meat ..I cooked from it twice the texture in hand is the same except there’s no fatty residue but when I cook it it’s not the same. I made burgers twice and noticed it’s not the same ..I don’t know what y’all are doing but I hope you’re not adding “extra” things in there with dye to pass it off as meat!! Ever since they no longer ground the meat in the stores little by little it started to change first with the fat percentage and now god knows what you’re mixing in it ..but it’s not meat! Not sure if I’ll continue to buy it unless I see it looks like the meat I used to buy .

We have been buying the cases of 90% lean ground beef for years now to supply our growing family. The case price allows for a great value, and we package it and freeze it until we need it. It is different than what most are used to because it has less fat, but it cooks up quick and doesn't need the extensive draining most hamburger needs. I would miss this item if Sam's Club discontinued it. Even just the one chub price is still a great value compared to other stores for lean ground beef.

I've always bought this at Sam's. But lately I've noticed in frying a lot of grease, which used to never happen. This was the reason I chose 90/10! The last 3 purchases, the meat looked really good in the packages but once it was opened, the real truth gets exposed,the older meat is obviously covered with fresher more red ground beef. Only reason it turns brownish is exposure to air. So it's not possible to be red on the outside and brown on the inside unless it's being mixed by the one packaging it. I've called Sam's about this, was given an apology, they stated this is not their practice. Yet, it's happened 3 times now and obviously IS their practice. Sorry Sam's, but that's a bit sketchy.

I have been buying Sam's Club 90/10 burger for years now. I won't buy my meats anywhere else. I live in a rural area, and I refuse to pay alot of money for not a very good quality product. I find that all of Sam's Club's fresh meats are super! I make a trip about once a month to stock up on everything I need. I can certainly recommend the 90/10 ground beef for both quality and value.

TWICE I have purchased the 90/10 ground beef which was beautifully red, looked great; When I get it home, it's totally brown on the inside, under all that red. I have take it back twice. Now, I will not purchase unless I see them package it up for me.

I have bought the 90/10 ground beef for several years and it has always been very good. However the package I bought this last time (May 2019) had a destintive chemical smell to it, even when I was cooking it. I just couldn't serve it to my family. I ended up throwing it away.
