Blades are only 20" not 22" as advertised

Bought this mower with high hopes. Owned it for 6 days. Second time out, turned it off to empty bag and it wouldn't start! Let it sit. Still wouldn't start. Although it's advertised to be 22"? The deck is, but the BLADES are 20". Deceiving. DO NOT BUY this mower. A good price isn't worth the hassle of returning when it quits.

Very impressed with mower

This mower is very impressive for the low cost. It was easy to put together. Just the connect the handles with four bolts. Put gas in and two pulls and it started. I like no choke or throttle control to break. I always cut at full throttle so have all the cables. The height adjustment is so easy, just one handle does all four wheels. It rolls so easy that half the time I did not even use the self-propel.

Transmission busted after 2 months use

Don't waste your money. Transmission blew after first 2 months of use and it's essentially a push power. Been back and forth with their warranty service for almost 3 weeks and all I've received are two "authorized" service centers that say they are not authorized. Still pushing my mower....Buy quality and don't go cheap. You'll end up paying for it either way.

had to have it

saw this mower and renewed my membership just so I could get it. Was easy to put 2gether (im not very handy! LOL). What drew me to it was the self-propel, being a small woman in a hilly yard this can come in handy! Would get 5 stars but the self-propel is only one speed. Overall very happy

You Get What You Pay For (Please read)

This is not to trash the mower, but it is a cheap mower that works, that's it. Briggs & Stratton has a high end motor, and a lower end motor. THIS MOWER HAS A LOW END Briggs& Stratton ENGINE. It is good for a cheap mower, but do not expect many years of service from this unit. And unless you're looking for a jogging partner, find another mower. This unit has one speed, and it is fast. When I pulled the lever for the self propel to kick in, the mower literally stood up like a race horse, and took off ! Ended up cutting the lawn by pushing the mower, which defeats the purpose of purchasing the mower. I can not find a way to adjust the speed on this race horse at all. Finally; if you're spending under $600 for a lawn mower, don't expect to get a great mower, these are only just below average mowers that work. I would return this unit, but I can not find the return policy on the website. This model is okay for someone starting out with a new house and a small budget, but for the seasoned lawn cutter, you will not be pleased at all. There is a reason the mower is priced so low, even Toro has mowers for under $400 which are just cheap mowers that have a few extra frills. I've found that every time I go for the less expensive option, I end up in the financial hole. Take my advice and spend a little more for a quality mower. This one is just below average!

Many Features Great Price

I have worked on and used many different lawnmowers in the past few years and this one is a great buy. 1 lever height adjustment, Bagger, Mulcher, Side Discharge. Briggs Motor. I purchased this a day ago and already used it on a medium sized lawn. The mulching worked well. It was easy to set up as it was 95% put together already in the box. It started on fist pull. (Don't forget to put in the included oil) 15 oz. It rolled well and the self propelled worked well. I would highly recommend this purchase.

Great buy!

We retired a 10 year old mower. I purchased this because of the self-propelling feature. My husband is 6'5” and often complained about his back because items like this are not made for tall people. Easy to assemble and he was able to finish the lawn in record time. I would give it 5 stars had he be able to adjust to his height.

Not Worth the Hassle

This mower was fine at first then, little by little, it just started coming apart. First, the (plastic) wheels wouldn't adjust. Next, the (plastic) gas cap broke (why a gas cap would be made out of plastic and engineered to turn only 1/4 turn is baffling). Then the (plastic) chute broke off. Then, most recently, the spring that controls the self-propel motor broke off. This mower just turned one year old. It's been used every 6-9 days from early June to late September in 2020, and from early April to (barely) June so far in 2021. It's been well taken care of, kept in a covered structure, covered with a tarp, and with routine maintenance completed. I regret purchasing this mower and wish I'd paid another $150 for a name brand, quality product! Even my no-name, basic, $98, 3-year-old mower from Rural King has done better than and outlasted this thing! The 2-year warranty on the Briggs & Stratton motor and chassis is USELESS if there's no frame/structure left to house it! Save your money, and buy something that's quality made and not largely constructed of plastic!

Runs good but self propelled mechanism is weak

I bought this mower about a year ago and the self propelled mechanism broke. I took it apart and found the problem the drive pin sheared off there aren't any parts available so I improvised and made a pin out of a drill bit that got me about a month but it broke again very unhappy if you're thinking of getting this mower save that hundred dollars and buy a non self propelled one that's what you'll end up with in the end anyway
