I love Cheesy Broccoli soup. So does my middle . We love that bread store's version. But the members mark was our at home go to. It's traditional. About a year and a half ago they changed the recipe. It tastes mostly like flat boring shredded carrots in creamy broth now. Also some weird chemical taste and now my dogs won't even need it. MY DOGS EAT EVERYTHING. Fix you soup Sam's Club.

I mean it’s not terrible. It is fairly thick, looks good, and is creamy but it is lacking some substance. There’s not much going on for flavor at all and I’m pretty sure I didn’t even see a portion of a broccoli floret. It is packed full of stems - small and large though. I’ll definitely skip it next time and grab the Panera one instead. Or make it myself.

I don't do food reviews here so this is a first. I'm surprised to see the reviews the soup has received. Perhaps I had a bad batch. It tastes like broccoli and cheddar but has nothing to actually sink your teeth into. You may as well call it broccoli flecked soup. All liquid with the finest julienned carrots. Will not be purchasing this again.

I was reluctant to purchase because of the mixed reviews. However, I really enjoyed the taste. We use this as a topping for baked potatoes. It is on the thinner side. It is flavorful and taste good. I can see how some people may want to add extra broccoli and cheese to make it hearty. Overall, it's solid and worth a try.

Purchased Broccoli cheddar soup on 8/7/25. Are you leaving product in the sun , open it up today. Feed my austic son it ( who will not complain about anything). Sat down to eat my soup look at my husband (is this bad). He said it was bitter, I tasted it and the milk product is bad (sour). And I just feed it to someone who can't tell me any better. I refuse to buy fruit at Sams any more tired of getting rotten fruit. Now I don't know if your products are safe. Update: bought soup on 8/7/25 expired 8/30/25.

Flavor is great—packaging could be better. The plastic containers easily fall out of the cardboard sleeve. My husband lost one into the car from the cart and also when we got home. Therefore because the packaging was so loose and not secure, we wasted $8 that day and never got to eat soup. Maybe enclose the box?

The flavor of this soup is good. The texture is off for me due to the shape of cut and doneness of the carrots. The carrot thin strips are tough. I prefer diced carrots that are softer. And there can be stringy crunchy pieces of broccoli as well. If you like that in soup, this is probably ok for you. Not for me. I prefer the other brand previously offered at Sam's.

Good soup, I wish the broccoli was smaller. Some of the Big chunky pieces of broccoli are tough.
