The shed was easy to install after seeing the video. The instructions need to be improved. The steed hardware should be number to know what piece is use were. You need two people to help install the roof panels. Do not use an impact driver if you cannot set the power setting it will strip out the screws. I feel it was a good buy overall.

Wish the instructions were more clear on the small details.Was fairly easy to put together using both the instructions and the video. Some things aren't very clear on either so this delays the process but once you get past putting all the parts together the actual assembly goes really quick. It was way more work making the base for this shed!

Took two full days to assemble with an experienced DIY male. After building a level platform when assembling as instructed after roof installation doors seemed uneven. Then used shims provided and it seems good now. Will see how it weathers through summer storms!

I bought this shed because it looks good quality. Hopefully it last. The price was right. Assembling took me 2 days. First I did did all by myself watching the video, which shows the assembling easy steps to follow, but I guess the one he assemble the parts were all perfect because the walls were difficult to attach to the floor. The second day I had a person helping me.

Much more difficult to put together than the advertising and online video indicated. Just building the correct platform is going to require some planning, materials and know-how. I’m happy with the final product, but I gave up a three day weekend and another day to get this done with my wife and two fathers helping.

I bought this last year and waited to assemble it because I had to build the foundation first, and wanted it to be of brick (not wood). The LifeTime video was really helpful, but you have to follow along in the manual. The manual is not perfect, like the labeling on the bags is not so well defined as it looks in the manual, but its sufficient with some logic to determine all the pieces appropriately. Also, the assembly video is of an older model shed and not all the parts are identical. Like the shelf inside has flaps that screw in to the walls rather than a separate metal L bracket. But you figure these tnings out as you go. Pay careful attention to the STARTING point of assembling the walls = front right. If you start from any other point, then you end up needing to insert a wall piece and can't slide it toward the already assembled sections. Its a pain, but you can make that work - just start from the right spot and you'll be ok. LOVE the look and feel of the shed - ti was definitely the right one to buy for size, looks and integrity.

The video produced does not represent the true and existing struggles the at home DIYers will encounter while assembling. It falsely misleads the at home DIYers to believe it is an easy and simple build without complications. The screws provided for the trusses had rounded heads making it almost impossible to use channel locks or vice grips as instructed in the video. A rubber mallet had to be used to completely insert both metal pieces into the doors as the plastic was too thick in areas which impeded the ease of entry. The video implies the opposite; simple easy insertion by hand. In some instances the video and/or the instruction manual are not definitively clear enough for the at home DIYers to the point that both instructions have to be viewed multiple times concurrently before an understanding can be deduced. The whole point of DIY is to do it yourself without having to reach out telephonically or otherwise for assistance. The shelf is too narrow and is as flimsy as a paper plate even after the round metal rods are attached. Two of the black plastic anchors provided for the shelf just spun in place and when they finally took hold just minutes after those two popped out of the wall; the entire shelf concept is worthless in my opinion. Manufacturing the shelf in the same manner as the wall panels would not only provide a sturdy and useful shelf, but would also lend itself to provide structural support for the back wall of the shed. There were some slight manufacturing defects encountered during the DIY assembly; rear gable did not seat properly, floor buckled slightly upon completion of shed assembly due to tongue and groove seating issues of the floor panels. The video showed two side-by-side silver screws applied to the floor panels in each screw point area. However on the floor panels we received there were only single screw divot areas to affix the black screws provided. The right door after assembly does not stand firmly flat at the far left top corner when closed; it flairs slightly outward. I hope no real problems will arise as a result of these defects. The window on the AHH wall panel is a nice feature until the glass panel is inserted. It has no proper seal, closure, or screen like the door windows and it is slightly too tall for the provided secure tabs to fit properly. It’s like it was designed for a child’s plastic play house. The concept is not a secure design, but instead presents an inferior stigma to the entire build. Overall, aesthetically it looks nice. For the price, we expected a better quality design. How well it stands up overtime under various weather conditions and for how long leaves much doubt. Therefore at this time based on the above, I cannot in good conscience recommend this shed to others. Should this shed hold up over time, I will change my recommendation.

It would be almost as quick to build a more solid shed with 2x4's, sheathing, Simpson ties, vinyl siding, and roof tiles. It would also turn out stronger and not cost that much more to do. This shed is a bit fidgety getting it shimmed so the doors work properly. It isn't very sturdy. It will provide shelter for my yard materials and tools that need to be kept out of the rain. Hopefully, it will last long enough that I can replace it with a better shed later.

Excellent design and instructions. I found I needed to pay very careful attention to details of instructions as subtle differences in the parts and construction are described and important. My wife and I were able to put this shed together (two people). The roof panels were challenging initially. The alignment of the roof peg and truss slot is very important. I would recommend changing the instructions somewhat. After aligning the nub on the roof panel and the notch in the truss on page 56 (with a second person standing outside the shed holding the panel in place), I recommend immediately putting an ADZ screw tightly in the truss slot closest to the wall. For the side of the roof panel closest to the front of shed, the outside person should be told by the inside person to slide that side of the roof panel up or down until the hole locations in the roof panel line up with the slots in the Gable, and then the inside person should put an ADZ screw in the Gable hole closest to the wall and tighten (page 58). These two screws will hold the panel in place so that all the other slots and screw holes are lined up. The second row of roof panels has two roof nubs and truss slots that can be lined up and the roof panel position secured by two ADZ screws through the truss slots closest to the wall. The above approach is easier than trying to start with the four screws between the roof panel and the wall as I had difficulty choosing the correct angle of those 4 screws to keep the roof nub and truss notch lined up. I recommend changing the manual or adding an addendum to reflect this alternate assembly method. I hope that information is helpful to others. Also in order to get the tops of two adjacent panels to sit in the same truss panel, I used a screw clamp (eg C-clamp or pony clamp) positioned from the top of the second roof panel to the bottom of the truss directly below and gently turned the screw handle to gently push the second roof panel into the truss channel next to first roof panel. Then I used a rubber mallet to tap the top of the middle portion of the roof panel into the truss panel. I hope that information is helpful, also.
