Definitely a challenge to put together and takes a lot of time. So you can imagine our disappointment to find that after putting it together, we were missing an entire door and a portion of the roof. Unsure who to contact between Sam’s Club and Lifetime.

I have a 7'x7' Craftsman plastic shed bought years ago for Halloween decoration storage (we go big every year). I needed something just a little larger to go next to it for Christmas decoration storage (we go even bigger every year). The Craftsman, while not a total breeze, WAS a total breeze compared to this Lifetime shed. Same wood foundation built as before, almost the same size shed, the difference is one brand was far & away easier to assemble. I'm writing this review, on day 2, as I take a break because I'm almost done but can't get the triangular roof pieces to align properly. This was a difficult build throughout, and while I don't assemble sheds for a living, this is not my 1st time. A very regrettable purchase...if only I had a time machine, I'd never have bought it.

Shed itself is ok. Took 3 of us approx. 10 hrs to complete. Instruction manual at times difficult to read. walls hard to install as they dont snap in as easy they say. If you are not 100% square screw holes do not line up and are VERY hard to get lined up

Compared to most other plastic sheds via price this product is very appealing. That is truly the one and only positive. Most plastic sheds cost more and far less labor intensive to build, if cost is your primary purpose for getting this product I strongly urge you to save even more money and just get a metal shed. You r going to need to have a very level surface as a foundation… I used gravel (3in deep) and treated lumber (1in lift) to make mine. If your foundation isn’t perfectly level you are going to run into a ton of issues getting everything to line up. My foundation had a slight curve to the back for drainage and I ended up having to prop the entire back corner to stop parts from sliding out. Instruction video is far more helpful than the instruction manual, but they do skip steps throughout. Building the foundation took me about 5 hours and putting the shed together took a solid 8 hours. Again this assembly is the equivalent of putting together a metal shed not a plastic. I am giving two stars because the shed from an aesthetic stand point is pleasing and it is functional. But, for the cost and labor I put into it I would have much rather saved a couple hundred dollars and went with a metal shed or spent more to have a plastic shed that wasn’t a witch to assemble.

I bought 2 of these and installed them side by side. Very good design, a bit of hassle to assemble on a hot day when the plastic expands, chose a more mild day. Overall very happy and about half the price for 2 of these to equal the same sqft as the 8x15 which was $2500

Instructions are useless as socks on a rooster. 2 or 3 steps just stopped right in the middle. I thought pages were missing but they weren't. Had to watch the videos to see what parts to use next. Some important details were missing such as metal support orientation on the Gables. Several parts bags were mislabeled. 2 of the roof panels were slightly different than the other 4 with no explanation in the manual but they all had the same 3 letter identifier. I got it assembled in about 7 hours by myself. I've done several of the backyard discovery outdoor playsets and their Instructions are 10x more clear on assembly. The shed itself is a great product but u might as well throw the Instructions in the burn pile with the boxes and watch the included videos for assembly. Seems durable so far. Roof was a little tricky to line up by myself but theres more than one way to skin a cat.

I purchased this storage shed to get all of my lawn equipment out of my garage. This shed is large enough to fit my riding mower with pull behind cart, push mower, garden tiller, weed eater, 8 foot stepladder, 100’ hose with cart, pressure washer, fertilizer spreader, shovels and rakes, and a 4’ shelving unit. I built the platform for this shed out of wood, and the cost was around $200. The assembly instructions are excellent. The instructions suggest 3 people are needed for assembly, but I was able to complete it by myself in about 2 days, including constructing the platform. I placed my shed in a corner area of my house, and it fits and looks great there. Keep in mind that in addition to the floor dimensions, the roof extends out about another 2” on each side. It can be a little difficult to get some of the roof panels to line up properly, but with a little patience it should go together properly.

Excellent Product

What a great little shed! If you are seeking a great little shed, this one is for you. My husband and I tested our relationship by choosing to install it ourselves. And, to my surprise, it was easy! The parts were in great shape and numbered. The instructional video was very helpful and accurate. We chose not to anchor it to our concrete slab, yet it survived 70mph winds and torrential rain this morning. Everything inside was dry and clean. YAY! It is without hesitation that I highly recommend the Lifetime 8’X7.5’ Outdoor Shed. Thank you and keep making quality products.

Very happily surprised on easy it went together. Only downside is the right hand door does not close all the way. It seems as though the top corner is wrapped and bows out so it does not close tight. Can this is replaced??? How do I go about getting a new door???
