[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never tried Ensure or others until these past two weeks. My partner, who passed away in January, used it all the time. So I thought I would try some since I am so thin and only eat tv dinners since Ron was the cook for 11 years. I look terrible since I was thin to begin with. I went to the doctor to ask for B12 shots. They were very expensive and my insurance company will not pay for the shots. I will be 77 years old in a few months. So they gave me some samples of Ensure and Boost. I liked the taste, I thought it was going to taste like medicine. I was pleasantly surprised so I bought some.

I gave her Ensure every day to help with her needs for vitamins, minerals. etc. I know that the Ensure allowed her to have a better quality of life while she endured many serious ills. I now drink Ensure myself as I am alone and need to keep the items in Ensure for me to be a little better.

He often forgets to eat or doesn't want to eat and mealtimes had become a constant struggle that frustrated both him and me. However, he is always willing to drink an Ensure. I have also warmed it slightly and told him that it was "coffee" and he takes it with a smile. Lately he has had difficulty swallowing and aspirates when he does. The physician instructed us to thicken his drinks but he does not like the texture or taste of the thickener. Fortunately Ensure is that perfect thickness (just a bit more than water) that allows him to swallow safely. Ensure provides the nutrients and vitamins that he needs to keep his body healthy and as active as possible. Truly, Ensure is a lifesaver!

This one almost killed me. But, since then, I have been drinking Ensure to make sure I get enough protein to help me. It gives me energy and is great tasting! It is expensive, but worth it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I suffer from chronic nausea issues for the last 10 years .When I first became ill I lost almost 20 lbs in 10 day because I couldn't keep solid food down at all, I could only drink liquids . I could feel how weak I was getting, I had to get nutrition in me so we tried Ensure and some baby food. I was able to hold that down most of the time and that slowed the weight lost greatly. I started to feel stronger after a few days of it ,I was drink 4 bottle a day. It's been my go to for the last decade when my nausea is bad and I just can't eat solid foods .I keep a mix of vanilla and chocolate on hand. The chocolate is kind of a desert replacement in the evenings just to get a change of pace in flavors .Can't say enough how this has helped me over the years.
