I am a two time cancer survivor and also have osteoarthritis. I feel great, however, and do believe that drinking Ensure has contributed to my overall well-being.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have problems eating and sometimes I will go a week without anything to eat and very little to drink not because I didn't have it I didn't want nothing. I have insomnia and I started taking a small cooler with me to bed with 6 simi frozen Ensure. At that time I really didn't like the consistency of those kind of drinks. When I started doing this I weighed about 150lbs and just drinking Ensure it took me back up to 180lbs my family and friends thought I had started eating well and I told them and they couldn't believe it. Now I'm in the same spot but a little worse the place that used to help me with getting the Ensure I needed but I'm having to buy it myself but can't afford what I was drinking at that time. I'm not asking for it all to be free but some help would be great. Ensure does what it says it can do and a little more.

I started drinking ensure the original in all three flavored. Ensure has allowed me to live a very productive active life and I am again gaining weight. My dad had used ensure the last year of his life and it help him to get the vitamins & protein he needed. So when he passed I took his ensure. When I got my throat & stomach problem I started using his ensure. The taste was great I used a straw to drink from and I got the nutrition I need. In October of this year I go in and they check my esophagus &hernia . At the moment I am able to drink the ensure get my nutrition & protein. Being 130 lbs at 5'10" tall, I hardly had any weight to lose, especially since I'm one who has a history of seldom becoming hungry and hardly have an appetite at all. I was told to begin drinking Boost, which I did for a couple of years but saw no improvement, in terms of energy level or weight gain. My best friend had an acquaintance who is a doctor. I have always ate healthy but I did not always reach the recommendation for my age, height and weight. It helped to keep me balanced. I continued to drink Ensure when he was born because as many people know, it is a challenge being a single mother like myself and I will be honest, I did not have the chance to eat a well balanced meal and the Ensure helped me on those days. I love the Vanilla flavor. It is my favorite of all the available choices. I recommend Ensure to anyone who feels or knows that they are lacking a well balanced meal or diet.

He is unable to drink chocolate milk so this does the trick nicely for him. He will also use it on cereal at times. We though he would never be able to make a shake again, mixes it with frozen yogurt and it is great, I love it too!
