Her doctor recommended it due to her loosing weight. Her health is not good and she does not get the correct nutrients through the food she eats so the ensure helps.

I could never get him to drink anything healthy. This ensure, is his drink of choice. We are like super hero's with this wonderful drink. I started losing weight and I remembered I drank Ensure after being hospitalized for a short time to help me get my strength back. I encourage anyone to try Ensure if your appetite is less than what it used to be. I have been drinking Ensure daily for over two weeks and have found my appetite has increased, my energy level is improving and over all I feel better physically. It is my favorite flavor and I continue to have excellent health at the young age of 80+. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Ensure (Original Nutrition Shake) accidentally, while finishing relatives left over ½ bottle of serving. Upon drinking it intermittently for a few days I noticed a distinct boost in energy while playing tennis. Discontinuing Ensure noticeably decreased the effect. The high protein does not appear to grant the same benefit, at least in my case. I am a 65 year old man. I would highly recommend trying Ensure.

He uses them for snacks sometimes. He loved them and we buy them 5 to 6 pack at a time, to make use he does not run out.

This is a delicious way to start your day. I started drinking Ensure-Dark Chocolate about a month ago and I have since lost six pounds and feel so much more vibrant. The Dark Chocolate variety is rich without being overpowering or "chalky" tasting. I would definitely recommend this product over other nutritional drinks or protein shakes. Ensure has been around for a long time and I've heard nothing but good things about this drink. My doctor recommended it to me years ago and now I am so glad that I drink it everyday. I usually drink 1-2 8 Fl. OZ bottles a day. Definitely tastes better chilled!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I have been drinking the shakes for about three years, it has prevented having high fat content breakfasts. My wife passed away in June of this year from pneumonia and Afib. While in the hospital she was given Ensure with a light breakfast, to provide much needed vitamin content as she had not been eating. During her stay she started to gain weight and strength. She was instructed to continue with Ensure. It was unfortunate that two weeks later she passed away from heart failure. I continue drink an Ensure to this day.
