My daughter insisted I needed protein to rebuild muscle and suggested I drink Ensure at least once/day. I did not like it cold so thought I'd heat it like hot chocolate....genius idea!!!

He often forgets to eat or doesn't want to eat and mealtimes had become a constant struggle that frustrated both him and me. However, he is always willing to drink an Ensure. I have also warmed it slightly and told him that it was "coffee" and he takes it with a smile. Lately he has had difficulty swallowing and aspirates when he does. The physician instructed us to thicken his drinks but he does not like the texture or taste of the thickener. Fortunately Ensure is that perfect thickness (just a bit more than water) that allows him to swallow safely. Ensure provides the nutrients and vitamins that he needs to keep his body healthy and as active as possible. Truly, Ensure is a lifesaver!

I started drinking this as a meal replacement because I don't always eat 3 meals a day. I barely eat 1 meal most days and I'm not a big meat eater. I usually drink my first Ensure of the day first thing in the morning and to me it’s a great way to start the day. I enjoy all of the flavors but the one I keep coming back to is the vanilla. When I first starting to drink Ensure, I expected some sort of aftertaste. I was pleased to discover that this is not the case

So I decided to replace my regular breakfast with one Original Ensure. Energy-wise, it carries me through until lunchtime and I've tried all of the flavors and find them equally delicious.

But the original are really tasty and I would drink it even without the health benefits. But they provide a good mixture of vitamins and nutrients if you prefer to get it this way vs a multivitamin and you get the benefit of protein.
