This product is purchased only because my loved one suffers with Crohn's Disease and is able to drink the Ensure products for the nutritional value. The price has jumped so much recently that sacrifices are made to purchase it. It's even more expensive when you are forced to buy it online because Sam's refuses to carry it in the local Sam's Club. My loved one only likes the Vanilla and Strawberry, but the Strawberry is very hard to find. I don't understand why.

This product made me sick. Drank a bottle of the vanilla flavour and at the end there was a big ball of fungus in it and powdery black substance in the cork. I was so frightened I tried to induce vomiting but it didn't work. I am only sorry I couldn't post the pictures here.

In caring for my elderly mother I often receive pushback when encouraging her to eat. This is a win / win! She loves the taste and I am grateful to get some nutrition in her! Once she's enjoyed one of these I am usually successful in getting whole foods such as sweet potato, fruits, etc. on board. I am grateful for this product.

I have been buying Ensure for years now and love them! I wish they didn't use seed oils or soy for their protein source. It used to have pea protein not too long ago and now they have added Carageenan to Ensure. Terrible choice!! Not nice to see that. I only say this because I love Ensure and it had helped me through the years, and I would like to see this product improve for it's consumers.

Ensure Original Nutrition Shake, Vanilla, are great when you have a hard time chewing.
