[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was introduced to Ensure while a patient in the hospital; I loved it! That was many years ago and today I continue to drink Ensure near daily. It is my breakfast when I'm running late and there is no time to fix a full breakfast. It is also my first choice for a snack or even before bed if my stomach is growling. It is also my best weapon to battle waistband expansion since it allows me to skip an occasional meal while providing all needed nourishment. The original vanilla is still my favorite flavor and I expect to continue using Ensure for my next 75 years.

I started sipping Original Vanilla Ensure day by day and started getting my strength back and gaining weight. If it hadn't been for Ensure I don't know what would've happened. I have kept drinking Ensure over the many years to supplement my diet as I never fully recovered from my condition. It still helps me everyday. If you have lost weight and are very ill with any type of stomach/colitis then this is a must have staple in your diet. It has no lactose either if you are sensitive. I am so thankful for this product.

I tried several flavors, and although I also like the vanilla, I really like the Butter Pecan. Now I still drink it just because I enjoy it.

It was recommended to me after I had surgery & needed to increase my protein intake. Vanilla & strawberry are delicious as well, but chocolate is my favorite. I highly recommend this product!

I drank Ensure dark chocolate protein shake a few days ago and became immediately sick. I had drank it before with some effect but this took the cake. I was at work and after drinking this ensure product, my face/chest became red, my abdomen growled loudly, then terrible gassy diarrhea and nausea. I thought I'd have to call 911. I felt like I was going to throw up all over my car, but thankfully didn't. I left work and sat on my porch for awhile. I felt better with each passing hour. I believe I had expelled the product immediately after drinking it - due to the extreme diarrhea. I am very traumatized by this and will never drink it again!
