My mother is an ALS warrior who drinks ensure daily she uses the vanilla and the strawberry the chocolate is a little harsh on her stomach. He is now 83 years old and his appetite is not what it use to be. The one thing that he has consistently enjoyed is the Ensure drinks. I feel confident that he is getting much needed minerals , vitamins, and protein by drinking them. On a side note, I drink one before meeting my running group on weekday evenings. I don't want to eat anything heavy before. Ensure is a great tie over until I eat dinner after the run.

I not only drink it because I like it...but need it to stabilize my weight which was quite low...was 68 pounds 4'11" at the age of 65 and due to illness it enabled me to gain weight to I now weigh95...could not live without it !
