The reason Ensure is an essential part of his diet and keeps him healthy is because he requires an amount of protein in his diet that he is unable to get by just eating alone. In addition, Ensure Original is just the right amount of protein he needs in his daily diet and because it tastes good, he enjoys drinking Ensure. The Butter Pecan Ensure is his favorite and he says it tastes like the ice cream. His doctors are happy and we are happy with the results that drinking one ensure a day gives my father. I loved chocolate milk as a child and this reminded me of that. The taste made me forget why I needed to drink this after having multiple surgeries. My cardiologist explained that as we age, it is harder for supplements (vitamins, minerals, etc.) to be absorbed, so one main reason he recommended Ensure. That has been four years ago and I do not miss a day having two Ensures. I drink one Original and one High Protein. I am soon to be 78 and so glad Ensure is a part of my daily life. Before being introduced to it, I thought it was strictly for sick people. All aged people should enjoy this drink and the benefits it offers us.

I started sipping Original Vanilla Ensure day by day and started getting my strength back and gaining weight. If it hadn't been for Ensure I don't know what would've happened. I have kept drinking Ensure over the many years to supplement my diet as I never fully recovered from my condition. It still helps me everyday. If you have lost weight and are very ill with any type of stomach/colitis then this is a must have staple in your diet. It has no lactose either if you are sensitive. My mother had some in the fridge and I tried vanilla . I felt amazing all day . Sometimes I don’t get to eat breakfast, but I’ll drink a Ensure and it will hold me over . [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i am just a regular guy with average tastes. i have tried other vitamin enriched drinks, and i have found Ensure to be the best.. there is not the full bloated feeling with Ensure and you can be ASSURED that ENSURE meets all the vitamin needs for your body. i like original with 220 calories and the smooth taste..the 8 ounces is just right to satisfy your thirst and leaves me with the not-too-full feeling.
