She drank different flavors and strengths at different levels of her recovery. She couldn't eat regular food for a while after her surgery. She loved the chocolate extra protein the best! My other sister drank shakes I made daily for her after her oral surgery. She couldn't eat solid food either for a while afterwards. Your product is great! It's one of our main go-to drinks! Keep it up and keep expanding the flavors!

My grandson has Autism and doesn’t eat food. He can only drink Ensure. He prefers the vanilla flavor. However the high sugar content causes him to be very hyperactive. Is there anything you can do to lower the sugar? It would probably help his Behavorial problem. Thanks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a full-time mom with a full-time job. I have blood sugar issues, and I will crash if I don't have frequent snacks. Ensures make it so that I never have to crash. I drink an Ensure every morning on my way to work, and I always carry an extra bottle with me, for in the event that I start to feel shaky after work. When I was pregnant, I would wake up in the middle of the night starving, and a bottle of Dark Chocolate Ensure was the only thing that could settle my tummy, and get me back to sleep. To be honest, I still wake up sometimes, but now, I go get my own Ensure, rather than sending my husband for it. ;)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a severe “dry mouth” condition and after having had a long period of depression and not eating and being dehydrated, I was in very poor condition, After having a total hip replacement surgery, and still not eating, I was given Ensure for the nutrients to help me get stronger, especially when I went home. I believe that drinking Ensure helped me regain strength. I am now starting to recover from all my problems and I have continued using Ensue and I look forward to it. I truly believe that Ensure kept me alive . It has a great taste along with the vitamins, etc I would not have taken something tasteless and/or unpleasant to drink!

For the most part it is a great between meal snack and/or a meal substitute completely. My biggest complaint is that it would seem that this flavor is being phased out - I am not able to locate in local stores and I am being told these stores cannot order it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In 2011 my husband had a laryngectomy. He wasn't one of the "lucky" ones to be able to eat naturally after this type of surgery. Due to the surgery and radiation he no longer has the muscles to swallow foods and relies of gravity for any type of intake, which means only liquids. Ensure and Boost are the only foods he has. These products have the nutrition he needs to live this new normal life.
